NIGHT & SUNDAY.
ANOTHER STRONG & VIGOROUS UPPER LEVEL LOW WILL APPROACH THE
NORTHERN CA COAST LINE SATURDAY.BEFORE MOVING ACROSS
THE REGION ON SUNDAY. PRESSURE GRADIENTS WILL TIGHTEN AHEAD OF
THIS SYSTEM ON SATURDAY.WITH BREEZY SOUTHERLY WINDS DEVELOPING
BY THE AFTERNOON. THESE GUSTY SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL LIKELY INCREASE
DURING THE EVENING & OVERNIGHT HRS.& MAY PERSIST THROUGH
MOST OF SUNDAY. THIS SYSTEM WILL SPREAD PLENTY OF RAIN AND
MOUNTAIN SNOW ACROSS THE REGION OVER THE WEEKEND.

STRONG WIND GUSTS ACROSS THE REGION.

THE NATL WEATHER SVC IN SACRAMENTO HAS ISSUED A HIGH WIND
WATCH.WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM SAT AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY
AFTERNOON FOR THE SACRAMENTO VALLEY.THE N. SAN JOAQUIN
VALLEY.THE SURROUNDING FOOTHILLS.& LAKE COUNTY.
STRONG & GUSTY SO. TO SE WINDS WILL DEVELOP OVER THE
REGION SAT EVENING & NIGHT.PERSISTING THROUGH MUCH OF
SUNDAY. SUSTAINED SOUTHERLY TO SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS OF 25 TO 40 MPH
MAY BE POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT ON SAT NIGHT & SUNDAY.WITH
GUSTS UP TO 60 MPH. LOCAL GUSTS UP TO 70 MPH MAY BE POSSIBLE
ALONG THE FAVORED EAST SIDE OF THE VALLEY. THESE WINDS WILL
COMBINE WITH MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN AT TIMES.CREATING DRIVING
RAINS & LWR VISIBILITIES.
THESE STRONG & GUSTY WINDS MAY CAUSE ADDITIONAL DAMAGE TO TREES AND
STRUCTURES ALREADY WEAKENED BY EARLIER WIND STORMS THIS
WINTER.IN ADDITION TO HAVING THE POTENTIAL TO BRING DOWN
ADDITIONAL TREES OR BRANCHES. PEOPLE ARE URGED TO TAKE PRECAUTIONS
BY TYING DOWN LOOSE OBJECTS & CUTTING BACK LOOSE LIMBS. PEOPLE
SHOULD ALSO MAKE SURE THEY HAVE FOOD.WATER.BATTERIES.BLANKETS.
AND OTHER RATIONS ON HAND IN CASE OF POWER OUTAGES.
A HIGH WIND WATCH MEANS THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR A HAZARDOUS
HIGH WIND EVENT. SUSTAINED WINDS OF AT LEAST 40 MPH.OR GUSTS OF
58 MPH OR STRONGER MAY OCCUR. MOTORIST ARE URGED TO USE CAUTION.
