Folks:
        	I have heard of people in town getting postcards from Tree 
Davis urging recipients to opposing the Fifth Street reconfiguration on 
the grounds that the proposal means removing 15-57 mature trees between 
B and L.
	This is either a misguided rumor, a dirty trick or a proposal utterly 
different from our own and unknown to us.   Please help to quash it.  
If any of you have contacts with the Tree Davis folks, would you ask 
that they call Steve Tracy or me?
