Starts 6:30pm at the VARSITY THEATER & MANSION properties on 2nd Street Reconvenes 7:30pm at the Hattie Weber Museum, corner 5th & C Streets Please try to attend this hearing if you can; there are a number of important issues here concerning historic preservation, "adaptive re-use" of city owned historic properties, and the process by which such proposals as the current one (for management of the Varsity) are developed, in addition to the specific proposal to "scrape off" the Tank House parcel of the Hunt-Boyer Mansion Complex, and develop it with new private construction unrelated to the Mansion Landmark.
