From oldeastdavis at omsoft.com Thu Apr 7 00:54:39 2005 From: oldeastdavis at omsoft.com (Old East Davis) Date: Thu, 7 Apr 2005 00:54:39 -0700 Subject: [OldNorth] 4/7 Neighborhood Meeting - Changed Location Message-ID: Hello, this email is to let you know that due to the recent flooding at the Hattie Weber Museum we had to relocate the Thursday April 7, 2005 neighborhood meeting. Neighborhood Meeting Invitation The owner of properties located at 904, 907, and 911 4th Street, and 912 5th Street is requesting Zoning Ordinance, General Plan and Core Area Specific Plan amendments in order to change the zoning of these properties from Commercial Service to Mixed Use. This notice is to inform neighbors that a neighborhood meeting has been scheduled to provide information and receive public comment on the application proposal described below. Date of Meeting: Thursday, April 7, 2005 Time: 7:00 to 8:00 PM LOCATION CHANGE: Meeting moved from Hattie Weber Museum to: Davis Senior Center Activity Room 646 A Street Davis, CA 95616 Application Description: The applicant is proposing to rezone these properties in a manner consistent with the "Core Transition East" area of the Davis Downtown and Traditional Neighborhood Design Guidelines. The current zoning for the subject properties is Commercial Service (CS). They have a General Plan Land Use Designation of General Commercial. Approval of the rezone and plan amendments would provide Mixed Use zoning and a Core Area Specific Plan designation of Retail with Offices. The Mixed Use zoning is intended to provide a use and scale transition between the Downtown Core and adjacent residential. No development plans are proposed at this time. Any proposals for redevelopment of these properties would be subject to a separate design review process. The application is currently being evaluated for consistency with the intent of the General Plan, the current/proposed zoning and compatibility with the adjacent properties. Consideration of the subject application requires Planning Commission and City Council review, at which time each body will hold a public hearing and make a recommendation or take action. The application is available for review at the Community Development Department, located at 23 Russell Boulevard. If you have questions or comments regarding the project or the application, please contact Sarah Worley at (530) 757-5610 or via e-mail at sworley at cityofdavis.org. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
