as a reminder I'll not be there (have previous plans)... to let you know a petition was passed requesting that "B" street remain on the X 2 hours pref parking as it is.... have fun guys.

Tuesday night will be the last official hurdle in our efforts to 
establish a special Old North parking district, bringing relief to 
residents who rely on street side parking in our neighborhood.
We will be regular item 7 (see text copied below) on the City Council

(Senior Civil Engineer Roxanne Namazi). Comment: Residents 
requested a ?special? parking district which consists of one parking 
space in front of each residence with the remainder of the street open 
for public parking. Recommendation: Approve Resolution."

No, there is no HRMC meeting on Monday, November 8th. There was a
meeting scheduled for Nov. 15th--but that has been canceled due to city
wide mandatory Commissioner training scheduled for that evening. At this
time the next regularly scheduled HRMC meeting will be Dec. 20th.

Subject: [OldNorth] New Trash cans and Parking

Today on the 600 block of G Street, 4 parking places on
the West side of G Street were occupied all day by the
new trash cans that have to be places in the street/gutter.
This was the first pickup day with both types of cans out.

This despite the fact that the various business occupants
don't have to put their cans out (the truck drivers go
back and fetch them, and put them back.)

How was it on the purely residential blocks?
