I suggest that we need an official OEDNA response. I'm sure Old North will do the same. Should we also respond separately??? The timing really gives us a great opening to bring our concerns about illfill/overfill/planning guidelines being ignored by planning commission/etc. etc. to the greater Davis community. Perhaps the Board & interested parties could get together before Friday to brainstorm a Letter to Editor? Thanks, Cathy Forkas From oldeastdavis at omsoft.com Sun Jul 18 17:58:55 2004 From: oldeastdavis at omsoft.com (Old East Davis) Date: Sun, 18 Jul 2004 17:58:55 -0700 Subject: [OldNorth] Reschedule City Council to July 27 / Strategy Meeting II July 23 (Fri) Message-ID: Old East & Friends-- FROM CATHY CAMACHO This is to inform you that the public hearing regarding the appeal of the Planning Commission action on 416 and 420 K Street has been rescheduled from the July 20, 2004 City Council meeting to July 27, 2004. STRATEGY MEETING There will be another strategy meeting Friday July 27 at Barbara's 223 J Street Friday July 23 from 7:30 to 9:00pm. Following up on last Friday's meeting. COME JULY 27 Both the B Street Project (massive ignoring of our hard-earned design guidelines) and K Street Projects (scraping two small bungalows) will be appealed by the developers at this city council meeting. The more people who can come and testify, the better. Please come: these are critical meetings for all our neighborhoods. EMAIL GOING TO OEDNA LIST or to A SENDER? ? If you wish to respond to someone, paste in their email address or you'll just send it here if you hit reply, not to them. ? Items going to the *oedna* list need to be specified to go there (it's not a server). Either in the subject or "Please forward to OEDNA list" before the message would help identify these. Thanks . . .
