Dear Old North -
The mediation agreement between the 530 F street project applicant and Wrye
and I was our effort to reach a compromise on the project that we could
(literally) live with. (Wrye and I live in the home directly to the North,
which the planning commission specifically noted as suffering the most
direct negative impacts.)
Others are still entirely free to attend the City Council meeting and speak
about the proposed project.
We'll be there in case the council has questions about the mediation
agreement or about our earlier concerns with the project.
Sorry I missed Thursday eve's meeting. Wrye was out of town, and I was
dealing with a grumpy three-year-old.

Hi John, I have no idea... we did discuss the issue of the mediation at
the last meeting but we had little comment. There was concern about one
neighbor being enough to hold up or to allow a project... but that was it.

Old North people had a communication from the parties to the 530 F
matter that they had mediated an agreement and the matter was settled, in
their collective view.
If so, the March 16 hearing is just a formality.
Is this correct? What is staff recommending?
John
Please be advised that the hearing on the appeal was re-set by staff
today to March 16th, my last "working" CC meeting. It will be at 7:30 pm.
Please forward to all concerned, and Old North Davis Association and
DHS.
