Join the PTO Board!

[Harper 2030]

Now that it’s May, it’s a fast sprint to the end of the school year. The
Harper PTO is preparing for the next school year, looking to fill next
year’s PTO Executive Board. The following positions will be open and we are
now putting out a call for candidates for these positions:

President, Treasurer, Auditor, Parliamentarian

The Harper PTO fills a vital role in helping to fund needed curriculum
materials and experiences for students as well as teacher and staff
appreciation and other hospitality, that likely would not happen with
district funding alone. Being a part of the Executive Board is a rewarding
position where you play an important role in helping to make funding
decisions, supporting the school with organizing volunteers, and keeping
the PTO running as a certified charitable organization. The first two
positions must be filled in order to operate as a PTO.

If you are interested, please email your name and contact information,
which position(s) you are interested in, and a brief statement of why you’d
like to be a part of the PTO Executive Board. Note that only members in
good standing with the Harper PTO may be a candidate and each person may
only fill one role on the Board. Please send the requested information to
