Help needed for Day on the Green and 9th grade events!

Hello Harper Families!


We are in the home stretch for the year and have some final requests to
help out leadership, and to ensure some really fun days for our students.


There are monetary/ item contribution opportunities *and *in-person
volunteer opportunities.We appreciate however you can assist!


*Items Needed*

We are in need of concessions for the 9th grade dance and prizes for Day on
the Green.

*Volunteers Needed*

We have 3 upcoming events that can't happen without your help!

*5/6: Mad City Money (8:45 - 11 am)*
9th grade students will be participating in a personal finance simulation
called "Mad City Money," hosted by Travis Credit Union. In the simulation
each student will be assigned an occupation, salary, partner, student loan
debt, and credit score, and then they must decide between their wants and
needs as they live and work in Mad City. The event will take place at
Harper Jr High's gym. Lots of volunteers needed!

*5/9: Help out with Freshmen Breakfast (2 shifts available)*
Please help us set up and serve an IHOP-catered breakfast to the 9th grade
students.

*6/11: Day on the Green--School wide event (multiple shifts and activities)*
Super fun carnival with water slides, bounce houses, games, food for sale
and more! Help needed running the booths and concessions. It's a very fun
day!
