The PTO spends $20,000 annually to support essential supplies and programs
for our staff and students not provided by the district. Your generous
donation enables staff to purchase materials (otherwise not provided), such
as fetal pigs and frogs for the science department; books for English and
Spanish classes; soccer goals, balls, and jump ropes for the P.E. classes;
technology and equipment across subjects including the Library, etc. Your
donation also supports programs that enrich Harper such as WEB, Freshman
Breakfast & Celebration, Day on the Green, Helping Hands Holiday Drive,
staff hospitality luncheons, and Parent Ed seminars.
The *HarPER Kid Donation Drive <https://givebutter.com/ttnyjf>* is our
primary fundraiser that we rely on to reach our goal of $20,000! The
suggested "*PER kid*" donation amount is* $150*; however, we gratefully
welcome all contributions.
This year, we are starting with less than $1,000 in our bank account--our
lowest amount ever!
*Until we raise funds, we will not be able to award our teachers and staff
any grant requests or be able to fulfill our budgeted obligations.*
Please consider donating any amount you can.
If you can't donate, please consider joining the PTO
<https://www.harperjrhighpto.com/> (no volunteering or further commitments
required) for only $15, all of which directly contributes to our budget.
*Any contribution will help fund amazing programs, events, and learning
experiences at Harper, and your donation is tax-deductible (tax ID#
20-1040120).*
