<p>SAN FRANCISCO — A California tribe says coho salmon are
suffering due to the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation’s management of dams
along Northern California’s Trinity River. The Yurok Tribe accuses the
bureau of violating the Endangered Species Act by restricting water flow
in the winter, which damages salmon nests, and releasing higher flows
of cold water in the spring, which lowers water temperatures and stunts
the growth of young salmon.</p><p><br></p><p><span style="font-size:large;" class="ydp90d9d739yiv0927588941gmail_default">Read the brief <a href="https://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/yurok-tribe-v-bureau-of-reclamation.pdf" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">at this link</a>.</span><br></p> </div></div><div><div dir="ltr" class="ydp90d9d739yiv0927588941gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div></div><div><font size="4"></font></div><div><font size="4">Felice Pace <br>Klamath, CA 95548 </font></div><div><font size="4">707-954-6588 <br><a href="https://www.paceonearth.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">https://www.paceonearth.com/</a><br></font></div><div><p style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:100%;"><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);"><font face="Liberation Serif, serif" style="background-color: inherit;"><font style="font-size:14pt;" size="4">Gratefully living since 1976 in the Shasta, Karuk and </font></font><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);"><font face="Liberation Serif, serif" style="background-color: inherit;"><font style="font-size:14pt;" size="4">Polikla (Yurok) </font></font><font face="Liberation Serif, serif" style="background-color: inherit;"><font style="font-size:14pt;" size="4">homelands</font></font></span></span> <br></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>
