Hello everyone,
Attached is the first summary for the 2026/27 season for the Trinity River Project, with updated information through Julian Week 23 (June 10). The Junction City weir was installed for the season on June 1, 2026, as a collaborative effort with the Hoopa Valley Tribe, Yurok Tribe, and CDFW. Getting these weirs installed each season is always a huge effort, and we greatly appreciate everyone's hard work and expertise in helping get the job done.
Additionally, we are excited to announce that we have two new Environmental Scientists, Hannah Richter and Catherine Masatani (cc'd). Both Hannah and Catherine recently filled previously vacant positions in the Weaverville office. Moving forward, they will also be sending out these summaries to you all.
Thanks, and have a great week.
