Hello everyone,

I am the new backfill for Mary Claire Kier, and I just started in my new position at the beginning of July. Attached is a summary of the preliminary data for the Trinity River Project for the 2025/26 season. Junction City weir began fishing on June 25th, and catches have been low to moderate. Shortly after trapping began we heard reports that there were plenty of fish in the canyon, so we may have missed some of the run. We intend to install and begin trapping at Willow Creek weir at the end of August. We haven't settled on a location yet, but we'll be sure to let you know when we do.

I've been busy getting up to speed on everything, so apologies for the delay in getting the summary out. Our current plan is to start sending these summaries every two weeks for the 2025/26 season. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
