As many of you may be aware, on March 7, 2018, Reclamation and the Klamath Water Users Assoc.filed a Motion for Relief asking the Federal District Court to "relieve the Federal Defendants from the obligations set forth in the Court’s March 24, 2017permanent injunction (“Order”)."   Today the parties agreed to request the Court expedite the hearing on this matter, setting the hearing on the Motion for April 4, 2018.
Unfortunately, this agreed upon April 4th Court date coincides with day 2 of our annual Fish Health Workshop.  As many of the Klamath's Tribal, Federal, and possibly State Agency biologists are likely to be at that hearing, the meeting organizers decided it would be best to postpone the meeting until sometime in May or June.  We will start the process tomorrow of contacting all of the presenters to find common dates open to all, and will then share a suite of possible alternate dates with our tribal and state/fed agency partners for their availability and input.  I am going to call the Best Western Miners Inn in Yreka tonight to cancel our conference room reservation (and room reservation) and to let them know we plan to reschedule the event.  
On behalf of the Klamath Fish Health organizing group, we apologize for the late cancellation notice.  Unfortunately, this situation is out of our control.  Please stay tuned in the next few weeks for updates on rescheduling this event.
