Subject: AB 1914 (Chesbro) - held in Committee
FYI – AB 1914 – Trinity River - update.
AB 1914 was held in the Appropriations Committee today. Today is the last day for fiscal committees to meet and report to the Floor bills introduced in their house. In short, the bill will not move forward.
According to the analysis, SWRCB claimed “Significant costs of at least $1 million (Water Rights Permit Fund) for SWRCB for proceedings and the preparation of an environmental impact report necessary to revise water rights permits affecting the Trinity River.”
Thank you for your interest and support of the proposed legislation. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Tom
