ACADEMICS/OPORTUNITIES/EVENTS: Students, College Night will be held @ Harper Jr High ​on Thursday, March​ 19, 2020 from 6:00 PM – 8:00PM.  This event is sponsored by AVID, Bridge, and ELD but is open to all students and parents, as well as all AVID and Bridge students and parents! This night will feature many excellent workshops and presentations that will help you navigate high school as well as learn about college opportunities. Please see Ms. McInturf for more information or if you have any questions.
The SAT will be held on Saturday, March 14th as plan. Students should arrive to P-13 at 7:45 am to get your room assignment. You must have your registration ticket and photo ID to enter. Photo ID on cell phone will not be accepted. Remember to bring your calculator. Test begins promptly at 8am - NO late entry. Please consider leaving your cell phones at home. Cell phones and electronic devices will be collected and must be OFF. If your cell phone or electronic device make any noise you will be dismissed and your test will be canceled.
CAASPP:  Juniors will participate in CAASPP testing this month. Sophomores and Seniors will and participate in assemblies during CAASPP testing. ELA    – Wed, 3/18 & Thurs, 3/19,Math – Wed, 3/25 & Thurs, 3/26 Science – Wed, 5/20 & Thurs, 5/21
Seniors the 2020 Graduation Speech Applications are now available. Please pick up an application form from Ms. Marlen Cabrera in the office if you are interested in being selected to speak at Graduation.
Hey Seniors, graduation season is soon approaching. For more information about the graduation ceremony, ticket sale, time and announcements, please visit the Graduation Information FAQ page on the schools website.
The Senior Announcements Catalog can be picked up at the office (not orders).
CLUBS: Attention CSF SENIORS:  You have until April 3 to verify your status as a graduating CSF member.  The CSF Senior list is now posted in the window of P-13.  Check the list for your status and spelling of your name and initial the list.
CSF Sophomores and Juniors:  If you are interested in running for CSF office, pick up an application in P-13.  They are due March 27.
Do you want to be a part of the Climate movement? Come to the Climate Action Club this Friday at lunch in L-14 because if you breathe air, you should care!
Happy Kindness Week! Make sure to spread the kindness this week individually or through various activities. Today, wear yellow for our yellow-out! Also, make sure to join us at lunch in the quad for a campus beautification project: A Mosaic!
CAREERS: COMING NEXT WEEK - THE CAREER CENTER’S ANNUAL SUMMER ACTIVITIES, SCHOLARSHIP AND JOB FAIR!  If you're looking for something to do this summer, need a job, or want free money for college, you should attend this event!  The fair will feature job applications, scholarship applications, and information about volunteering and summer activities.  The fair will take place in front of the All Student Center on Tuesday, March 17 at lunch. See you there!
