Hey Seniors, graduation season is soon approaching. For more information about the graduation ceremony, ticket sale, time and announcements, please visit the Graduation Information FAQ page on the schools website.

Any students who wish to take AP Art Studio and have NOT taken the introductory class, MUST submit a portfolio to the Art Dept by February12th. Please see any art teacher for any questions and the information flyer.

Senior Announcements orders can be picked up at the office.

Senior Parents - Submit Kinder Photos – Help us make your student’s Grad Night extra special! Each senior should submit a wallet-size digital Kindergarten head shot photo (approx. 2x3 inches) for the popular Kindergarten Wall at Grad Night - the students love to search for their younger selves and their friends throughout the night. If you can't find a school photo, a photo close to that age is fine. Email the photo in jpeg format only to dhskinderphotos at gmail.com<mailto:dhskinderphotos at gmail.com>

 STUDENTS: Students please remember that businesses across the street from Oak Avenue have parking spaces designated for staff and clients. Students let me considerate by not using up their parking spaces. Thank you.

CLUBS: Attention Seniors-Did you take Spanish 4, 5, or 6 your Sophomore or Junior year? If so, apply for the Seal of Biliteracy on the Davis District site by January 31st. If you have questions, see Candelario in room O-6.

Curious about Hijab and what it’s like to wear one? The Muslim Student Association is hoting a Hijab day on Friday, January 31st. Experience what hijab is like by trying one first hand! We will also talk about what Hijab means to us and answer any of your “hard to ask” questions!

 Hey NHS! Registration for the spring semester starts on Tuesday, January 21st and runs until Friday, January 31st. Please bring $5, your unofficial transcriot, and your hours log from last semester if you have one. Come to S-12 @ lunch to register. See you there!

DHS Students- Share your story! This week is Mental Health week at DHS, and student government is looking for student stories and experiences with Mental Health and wellness. CAREERS: Da Vinci Charter Academy, the American Association of University Women and Explorit Science Center are hosting See It, Be It – A Night Celebrating Women in STEM on Tuesday, January 28th from 6:30-8:30 pm in the Da Vinci High School MPR. The event is free and open to all junior high and high school students. It will feature brief presentations from six highly accomplished women working in the STEM fields.  Please come out to learn about potential pathways to successful STEM careers.

Financial Literacy classes are back! This Friday, January 24 at lunch in the Career Center, Travis Credit Union will hold the first Financial Literacy class of the year.   Pizza will be provided!  This month’s topic is “Understanding Your Money”.  Come to the Career Center this week to sign up!
