ACADEMICS/OPORTUNITIES/EVENTS: Join the HUB staff! Applications now available outside L-28 for the following positions: photographer, graphic artist, webmaster and business manager.  Application deadline is on Friday, 2/21.
Advanced Placement Exams (AP):  The Final AP registration order and payments are due Thursday, Feb 20th. Students must register online at https://user.totalregistration.net/AP/50730 with a join code from their teacher or AP coordinator. AP S2 exams are $99.00 and AP S1, AY exams are now $139.00. Payments can be may at https://user.totalregistration.net/AP/50730  or in the Finance Office.  As mandated by College Board, AP exams cannot be ordered for students that do not register on myap.collegboard.org even if a payment has been made.
Seniors the 2020 Graduation Speech Applications are now available. Please pick up an application form from Ms. Marlen Cabrera in the office if you are interested in being selected to speak at Graduation.
Hey Seniors, graduation season is soon approaching. For more information about the graduation ceremony, ticket sale, time and announcements, please visit the Graduation Information FAQ page on the schools website.
Senior Announcements orders can be picked up at the office.
CLUBS: Lunchtime Intramurals is starting MARCH MADNESS... a 3 on 3, student-staff basketball tournament!  Find someone to team up with and then ask a teacher or staff member to join your team!  Teams must consist of 2 students and 1 staff member! Once you have your team of 3, stop by the north gym at lunch, and sign up with Mr. Ariola or Ms. Crawford!  Don't miss out on this!  It's going to FUN!  Intramural Champion t-shirts for the winning team!

Environmental Club is working with UCDavis to build a new garden! Sign up for construction by coming to S-10 on Thursdays.
Be sure to stop by JSA's first general meeting Thursday, February 20, in P-13, Ms. O'Brien's room. Join us for some non-partisan Speech and Debate.
Hey Seniors! It's time to vote for Senior Mocks! Check your school loop for a link to the voting form. Don't wait to vote for Best Eyes, Broadway Bound and many more! Voting closes tomorrow, February 19!
Pick up your AVID applications in the main office and return to Mrs. McInturf in room L-105 by Friday, February 28th.
National FFA week is coming up! The first event is today, February 19th at 8 a.m. to 8:50 a.m. in Room O-1, (Mr. Hess's room). We will be serving plates of pancakes, sausages & more for $3. Anyone is welcome! So come!
CAREERS: Would you like to go to Nicaragua this summer?  If so, come to the Career Center on Thursday, February 20 at lunch to get the details about a Nicaraguan summer adventure hosted by a local Davis teacher and volunteer for Seeds of Learning educational tours!

If you applied to Sac State for the fall, come to the Career Center on Tuesday, February 25 at lunch for a Sacramento State "What's Next" presentation, where you will learn the next key steps you need to take to officially enroll in the university.
Our next Money Management for Teens presentation (formerly known as the Financial Literacy class) will be Friday, February 21 at lunch in the Career Center.   Pizza will be provided!  This month's topic is "Credit Cards - the good and the bad".  Come to the Career Center this week to sign up!

The PTA is sponsoring a Gap Year Fair on Saturday, February 22 from 1:00 - 4:00 in the All Student Center and library.  Students will hear speakers discuss a wide variety of gap year opportunities, and meet with representatives to learn about the many different gap year programs available.  Come to the Career Center for a flyer on how to sign up.
