MENU DHS: Breakfast Served Daily:  Cereal w/Graham Cracker, Breakfast Pizza, Assorted Breakfast Sandwiches, Scones, Breakfast Burrito, Chicken & Cheese Quesadilla, Pancakes w/ Sausage, Assorted Muffins, Chicken & Biscuit Slider, Yogurt Parfait w/Graham Cracker. Grab & Go Hot Chocolate & Muffin & Fruit Cinnamon Rolls.

ACADEMICS/OPORTUNITIES/EVENTS: Today is our fifth and penultimate CAML test.
Advanced Placement Exams (AP):  The Final AP registration order and payments are due Thursday, Feb 20th. Students must register online at https://user.totalregistration.net/AP/50730 with a join code from their teacher or AP coordinator. AP S2 exams are $99.00 and AP S1, AY exams are now $139.00. Payments can be may at https://user.totalregistration.net/AP/50730  or in the Finance Office.  As mandated by College Board, AP exams cannot be ordered for students that do not register on myap.collegboard.org even if a payment has been made.
Any student wishing to take AP Art Studio and has NOT taken the introductory course at this school must submit a portfolio by Wednesday, Feb 12 (next Wed) in order to be considered by the Art Dept.  Please come to A-1 at the beginning of lunch or break, OR see any art teacher for more info.
Seniors the 2020 Graduation Speech Applications are now available. Please pick up an application form from Ms. Marlen Cabrera in the office if you are interested in being selected to speak at Graduation.

Davis Senior High School will host our Open House 2020 on Thursday, February 13, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. We cordially invite you to visit with families, students, teachers, counselors, students and learn more about our wonderful students, programs, enjoy student performances and course offerings." CLUBS: Join DHS' Environmental Club in the construction of a new garden on campus! Don't miss the chance to sign-up by coming to Environmental club, every Thursday in S-10.
Youth in Government applications are now available in ASC-100, and are due February 26. Youth in Government is a great way to learn about local Davis Government, and improve your college applications.
 Hey CSF! We're continuing Spring registration from now until 02/13. A reminder that we won't be registering next week on Monday & Friday. Please bring $5, a completed pink application, your report card, and a completed Green sheet if you have one to Mrs. O'Brien's room P-13.
Hey Seniors! It's time to vote for Senior Mocks! Check your school loop for a link to the voting form. Don't wait to vote for Best Eyes, Broadway Bound and many more! Voting closes Wednesday, February 19!
Pick up your AVID applications in the main office and return to Mrs. McInturf in room L-105 by Friday, February 28th.
National FFA week is coming up! The first event is on Wednesday February 19th at 8 a.m. to 8:50 a.m. in Room O-1, (Mr. Hess's room). We will be serving plates of pancakes, sausages & more for $3. Anyone is welcome! So come!
CAREERS:  If you plan to attend community college this fall, come to Sacramento City College's Orientation event in the Career Center on Thursday, February 13 at 10:00 am.  Orientation is required for all new students and is where you will learn how to choose classes, find college resources, learn the types of degrees available and more.  Come to the Career Center to sign up!
Are you interested in taking a gap year before starting college?  The PTA is sponsoring a Gap Year Fair on Saturday, February 22 from 1:00 - 4:00 in the All Student Center and library.  Students will hear speakers discuss a wide variety of gap year opportunities, and meet with representatives to learn about the many different gap year programs available.  Come to the Career Center for a flyer on how to sign up.
Are you looking for a job?  In-N-Out Burger is now hiring at the Davis location on Olive Drive!  Pay is $15.00 per hour.  Come to the Career Center for more information and a flyer.
