THIS DAY IN HISTORY: 1784 - The U.S. Congress formally created the United States Army to replace the disbanded Continental Army. On June 14, 1775, the Second Continental Congress had created the Continental Army for purposes of common defense and this event is considered to be the birth of the United States Army.

Lunch: Today's Lunch specials in the ASC Café are Teriyaki Chicken with Fried Rice, General Tso's Chicken with Yakisoba noodles and Stir fried veggies, and Buffalo Chicken with Cajun Fries.

Seniors: If you have a religious or medical reason that necessitates leaving the graduation ceremony early, please contact Vice Principal Amelia Hess as soon as possible.
HEY SENIORS! THIS IS YOUR TIME TO CELEBRATE! Davis Grad Night is FRIDAY JUNE 14th - 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for all DJUSD Graduating Seniors. Your ticket includes food all night, entertainment, hundreds of raffle prizes and so much more. Don't miss this one last time to celebrate graduation with EVERYONE. Purchase tickets at www.davisgradnight.org<http://www.davisgradnight.org> before the end of the month when prices increase. Reduced price tickets are available to those who need assistance. See your school counselor for more information.
CAASPP Makeups will be held on Tuesday, June 4th from 9:00am to 3:30pm for Juniors and Seniors in the Library West Conference Room.

CLUBS:
If you were unable to make the APUSH meeting to check out the textbook and pick up the Summer Assignment, please come to the library at lunch on WED June 5th.Make sure you bring your Student ID.

"The 2019 DHS Car Show was a huge success thanks to all those who participated, including the Davis Auto Tech Booster Association and the DHS Auto Tech Education Program. We are calculating the results of the voting and will announce the winners soon. Please stay in touch via Instagram and Facebook @dhsdatba."
300 yearbooks purchased in the fall still have not been picked up! Check the list outside the finance office to see if you purchased one! Yearbooks can be picked up at the finance office all this week.

SENIORS: The list of all students receiving scholarships, awards, or special recognition at Senior Awards Night is now posted in the windows of the Career Center. Come to the Career Center to see the names of students being honored at Senior Awards Night on June 4!
Senior Awards Night is almost here! All seniors are invited to come to Senior Awards Night on Tuesday, June 4 at 6:00 p.m. in the Richard Brunelle Performance Hall. We encourage all seniors and their families to join us in celebrating the many accomplishments of our 2019 Senior Class. Come to the Career Center to see the names of all students receiving scholarships, awards, or special recognition at Senior Awards Night.
