ACADEMICS/OPORTUNITIES/EVENTS:

We are getting closer to graduation! Senior Speech applications are now available at the office. Applications are due Friday, April 5th at 4:00p.m. No late speeches will be accepted. A panel of judges will read the speeches and select the finalist. Finalist will be invited to a live audition on Thursday, April 18th during 7th period. Students will be chosen and notified by April 23rd.



On March 16th, the Davis High School Bands and DJUSD Music Program invite the school to a festival of music benefiting the Paradise Unified School District (PUSD) music program on Saturday, March 16 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. At the Richard Brunelle Performance Hall. The festival, featuring over 450 student musicians, is free to the public with 100% of donations being given to the PUSD music program. We will also have a festival band performance that reunites the scatter Paradise Band Students with over 100 Davis band students for a phenomenal band performance at 5:00pm! All students who turned in their AP Drawing Portfolios may pick them up.  Acceptance lists are posted in A-1 and the Art Office Window.

"DSHS Dance Team" will be holding tryouts for the 2019-2020 school year April 8th - April 11th.Mandatory Clinic, Monday, April 8th - Wednesday, April 10th, from 4-6pm @ DSHS Dance Room Tryouts, Thursday, April 11th @ 4 pm Parent/Student Information Packet There will be a mandatory parent/guardian and student meeting on Wednesday, April 3rd from 5:00pm-5:30pm in the DSHS Dance room. It is required that all dancers have been cleared by Athletics prior to participating in tryouts. CLUBS:
Hey DHS! Spring Dance is coming up and will be on March 15th from 8-11p.m. Purchase tickets online and save! Online sales are from March 4th - 15th  for $6 with ASB and $8 without. In person sales are March 11-15th  in the Finance Office. $8 dollars with ASB and $10 dollars without.  Hope to see you there!

Get hyped because it's Kindness Week. Kindness week will then wrap up with yellow Friday.

Do you want to make a lot of money with little effort? Do you want to look good to colleges? Do you want to be financially stable adult? If you answer yes, to any of these questions, come join the investment club this Friday at lunch in L-22!

Don't worry - all information and applications available at the fair for scholarships, jobs, summer programs, and volunteer opportunities can be found in the Career Center which is located in the All Student Center.
