ACADEMICS/OPORTUNITIES/EVENTS: Donate your Artificial Christmas Tree to Grad Night Grad Night 2020 Decorators are looking for donated artificial Christmas trees. If you are discarding or replacing your tree this season and willing to donate it to Grad Night 2020, please contact Heather Lybbert or Karen Fee. We can coordinate pick-up or delivery that is convenient. Trees can be various sizes, do not have to look perfect, and do not have to have working lights. If they do have lights, that is fine. YEARBOOK: Attention Senior Parents! Make sure your senior has a keepsake of this important year. Deadlines for purchasing a yearbook and/or a commemorative ad are coming up! Go to the school website at http://dshs.djusd.net/ and click on "Yearbook Website" on the left to purchase a yearbook directly from Walsworth. If you are not sure if you have purchased a yearbook already, Please check the list posted outside the Finance window .Prices and deadlines for yearbook pre-sales are as follows: Until Dec. 31: $95,Until Jan. 17: $110. A limited number of books will be available for sale in May for $125. PURCHASE A SENIOR AD Share your memories and a congratulatory message with your graduate by purchasing a senior ad. Go to the school website and, under the "Student Life" tab, click on "Yearbook Website" on the left. Scroll down to find the "Senior Ad" link. You will submit text and photos; the yearbook staff will design it to match the rest of the ads in the section. Senior ads may be submitted between now and Friday, Jan. 10. No senior ads can be purchased after Jan. 10. Here are the prices: Full page ad: $280, 1/2 page ad: $175, 1/4 page ad: $100, 1/8 page ad: $65

Hey dancers! Are you excited for WiBall on January 11th? Ticket sales at lunch in the Finance office. Regular sales in person and online continue today and end tomorrow. No sales during finals week. Prices for the first week are $15 with ASB and $20 without, and will increase for the week of the event. Guest passes available in the front office. Make sure to buy your ticket early so that you can be part of the WiBall fun!
CAREERS: Bank of America is now accepting applications from high school juniors and seniors to attend their eight-week paid Student Leaders summer internship program. Students will learn about nonprofits and develop leadership skills by working as a paid intern at a local nonprofit, and attending a week-long all-expense paid Student Leaders Summit in Washington, D.C. in July. Deadline to apply is January 31, 2020. Come to the Career Center for more information.
