WELCOME BACK BLUE DEVILS!

THIS DAY IN HISTORY: 1907 - American Messenger Company" was started by two teenagers, Jim Casey and Claude Ryan. The company's name was later changed to "United Parcel Service.

MENU DHS:

  *   Breakfast Served Daily:  Cereal w/Graham Cracker, Breakfast Pizza, Assorted Breakfast Sandwiches, Scones, Breakfast Burrito, Chicken & Cheese Quesadilla, Pancakes w/ Sausage, Assorted Muffins, Chicken & Biscuit Slider, Yogurt Parfait w/Graham Cracker.
  *   Grab & Go Hot Chocolate & Muffin & Fruit Cinnamon Rolls.
Lunch: Teriyaki Beef w/Brown Rice & Veggies and BBQ Chicken Sandwich w/Cajun Fries
TODAY: Attention all students enrolled in Independent Lifetime Sports for the current FALL SPORTS season:  Yes!  We will meet the first day of school!  Please report to the small gym during 7th period for your first day of class, so we can officially enroll you in the ILS course.  Please arrive on time.  If you have Independent Lifetime Sports, during 1st period, please report to the small gym at 8:30am to check in with your teacher.
ACADEMICS/OPORTUNITIES/EVENTS:
Advanced Placement Exams (AP):  AP Exams are $99 per test. Online sales are 8/28 to 10/11. The new AP registration process will require students to complete a two-step process for registering for their AP exam(s). First, students will sign in at my.apcollegeboard.org after getting a join code from their AP teacher or the testing coordinator. Second, students will go to www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/050730<http://www.TotalRegistration.net/AP/050730> to pay for their exam. If you are in need of financial assistance, please contact your counselor. You can find additional information regarding AP changes at https://apcentral.collegeboard.org/about-ap/news-changes/ap-2019.
ATTENDANCE: College Visits-Only Seniors will receive a maximum of two days as excused Absences. What do you have to do to get absences excused?
*         Students need to submit to the attendance office documentation 3 days prior to the college visit.
*         Students need to provide an appropriate documentation from the College or University they are visiting
*         College visits needs to be pre-approved by an administrator.
*         Questions come to the Attendance office for clarification.
