THIS DAY IN HISTORY: 1997 - The 103rd convention of the Audio Engineering Society (AES) was held in New York City, NY<http://www.on-this-day.com/us/ny>. The official debut of the DVD format was featured.
MENU DHS:

Lunch: Happy Burrito Day! The ASC Café is now offering burrito bowls in addition to our burritos. We are now serving chicken, beef and nacho cheese, bean and cheese, and veggie (vegan) burritos!
TODAY:
Come support your Blue Devil Football teams as they take on Sheldon today - JV at 5:00; Varsity at 7:15. It is also Pink Out Night, supporting breast cancer awareness month. Pink Out shirts are $5 and will be available for purchase at the Football Backers booth at both games.
Guys, gals, and nonbinary pals! Come to the GSA meeting at lunch in Mrs. Istas room, L-29, up the stairs on the right side of the library.
Do you want to choose our president in the 2020 election or even vote in the upcoming November elections? If so, come down to N-2 to register to vote. All you need is to be 16 or older, and know the last four digits of your social security number.
If you are interested in getting a free t-shirt, then come join Art for Cure's first meeting in L-27. We will have t-shirts for you to design yourselves and will also go over what our club is about.
Key Club registration will be held outside of S-12 during lunch. Bring last semesters hour sheet if you were a member in the spring and $13 dollars.
Hey CSF! Our first meeting is today in P-13 at lunch. Come learn about our newest projects and how CSF works. Hope to see you there!
DHS Anime Club is finally here! Come join us at S-6 in the Japanese room to watch anime and win prizes. Meetings are every Friday at lunch. Hope to see you there!

Interested in Davis High Softball? Come to the info meeting on Monday, October 8 @ 6pm in the DSHS Library. Info about fall practices and the upcoming season will be shared. Fall preseason practices will be held Tues/Thurs 4:00 at the varsity softball field beginning October 9. You must be cleared with DSHS Athletics online registration in order to participate.
