ACADEMICS/ OPPORTUNITIES/EVENTS:
The PSAT is Saturday, 10/13. The cost is $24.00. There are NO Refunds and no transfers. Sales end 10/1. There are a limited number of tests available. If you feel this is a financial hardship, please contact your counselor immediately.
*Juniors only: Online purchasing is available until- 10/1 @ dshs.djusd.net
*Sophomores: Online purchasing is available 9/17 - 10/1 @ dshs.djusd.net and is subject to availability
*In-person sign-ups will be held during lunch only, 9/24 - 10/1 at the Finance Office outside window. Students or   parents can pay in person via credit card, cash or check payable to Davis High School or DHS.

Please make sure to take your ASB receipt if you have purchased an ASB or need a correction to your ID. Life touch will be on campus from 7:30am-1:00pm. We will see you there!

Just a reminder that all posters/flyers on campus must be approved by an administrator, include the administrator's initials, and be posted on one of the blue walls.
Friday, September 21, 2018 is the deadline for submitting information and articles for the October edition of the DHS PTA newsletter. Please send news, announcements, etc. to the DHS PTA Media Listserve at DHSPTAmedia at mailman.dcn.org<mailto:DHSPTAmedia at mailman.dcn.org>. Be sure to include your name, email address and phone number in case the newsletter editor has questions about your submission and also note that not every submission will be automatically included. Inclusion is at the discretion of our communications committee and is subject to timing, the appropriate venue(s), and frequency of the request(s).The newsletter is the ONLY communication tool that reaches ALL DHS families, whether they have internet access or not. The newsletter is generally published around the first of each month.  This is a great way to inform, notify or enlist parents' help for upcoming DHS school and student activities.

CLUBS:
Hey DHS! It's the final week of CSF registration, go register in P-13 at lunch before lines start getting long. Be sure to bring $5 dollars last semester's report card, and a filled out pink application sheet.

Homecoming Applications are now available in the ASC-100! Come pick one up show your club or teams spirit to the whole community! Applications are due October 3rd!

Hey Key Clubbers! We will be running registration this week in front of S-12 during lunch bring $13 dollars. Make sure to bring last semester's hour sheet (if you were a member last semester).

CAREERS:
Colleges visiting the Career Center this week include Oregon State, Rutgers, UC Santa Cruz, New York University and many more!  Go on Naviance or come to the Career Center to see the list of upcoming college visits!
Volunteers are needed for a community mural painting project in North Davis.  The Paint the Street project is creating a large dragon mural on the greenbelt and volunteers are needed to mix paint, help with children, and clean the street.  Come to the Career Center for a flyer on how to sign up.
