  *   Breakfast Served Daily:  Cereal w/Graham Cracker, Breakfast Pizza, Assorted Breakfast Sandwiches, Scones, Breakfast Burrito, Chicken & Cheese Quesadilla, Pancakes w/ Sausage, Assorted Muffins, Chicken & Biscuit Slider, Yogurt Parfait w/Graham Cracker.
  *   Grab & Go Hot Chocolate & Muffin & Fruit Cinnamon Rolls.
Lunch: Happy Monday from the ASC Café. Today's lunch specials are General Tso's Chicken and veggies and Fish Sandwich.

Interested in Davis High Softball? Come to the info meeting @ 6pm in the DSHS Library. Info about fall practices and the upcoming season will be shared. Fall preseason practices will be held Tues/Thurs 4:00 at the varsity softball field beginning October 9. You must be cleared with DSHS Athletics online registration in order to participate. Attention Blue Devil Shredders! The DHS Snowboard team is having an information meeting on October 18 in room L20 at 7PM. Come learn about this varsity sport. The season lasts from December to February and you will have a chance to race the slalom and giant slalom at Lake Tahoe resorts. ACADEMICS/OPORTUNITIES/EVENTS:
Attention Juniors! Interested in helping to build your class float riding on it in the Homecoming Parade? Then come to an informational meeting at lunch in ASC100 on Wednesday, October 10th.

CLUBS:
Hey DHS! This is the last week to sign up to donate blood at the blood drive on October 15th! Sign-ups will be held today in the quad during lunch and will continue into next week. To be eligible to donate, you must be at least 16 years old, and weight at least 110 pounds. One pint of blood can save up to 3 lives, so your contribution matters!

Come to Spanish Club Tuesday, October 9th in Sr. Candelario's room O-6. We will have fun games and fun times and discuss Day of the Dead activities. Hope to see you sophomores, juniors and seniors there!

CAREERS:
Would you like to learn more about the United States Navy?  If so, a Navy representative will be on the quad Tuesday, October 9 at lunch.
Financial Literacy classes are back! On Friday, October 12 at lunch in the Career Center, the Yolo Federal Credit Union, in partnership with the PTA, will hold the first free Financial Literacy class of the year.   Pizza will be provided.  This month's topic is Money Management Part 1: Financial Goals and Values.  Come to the Career Center this week to sign up!
