ACADEMICS/OPORTUNITIES/EVENTS:
SENIORS! Do you know about the tradition of Davis Grad Night? Davis Grad Night is a fun, safe and sober all-night celebration for graduating seniors from the four high schools within the District (Davis Senior High School, DaVinci High School, Martin Luther King High School and DSIS). The party is held at Emerson Junior High School, with the entire campus transformed into a nightclub filled with activities, hundreds of raffle prizes and an all-night cafe. The decorations theme changes every year and is top secret until it is revealed at Grad Night. About 90% of the graduating class attends the event. CLUBS:
Hey CSF! We're having our 6th general meeting this Friday, December 14th, in P-13 at lunch. This is our second to last meeting of the semester, so if you haven't gone to any meetings, you have to start now to fulfill your semester requirements.

Calling all singers! Apply now for the DHS Idol and compete to win $150! Applications are available in PA-8 and are due by December 21st. get your application in soon, spots fill up quickly!

CAREERS:
If you would like to learn about the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) Scholarship, come to the Career Center for a flyer on how to apply.  The NROTC Scholarship provides full tuition and fees for college. The deadline to apply is December 31.
Interact Club is working with Empower Yolo to host a holiday drive for teens. They are accepting donations of makeup, toiletry sets, winter wear, headphones, phone chargers and gift cards. Turn in donations to N-6 or P-13 by December 14th.
The next Financial Literacy class is Friday, December 14 at lunch in the Career Center. Pizza will be provided. A representative from Yolo Federal Credit Union, in partnership with the PTA, will discuss identity theft and fraud. Come to the Career Center this week to sign up!
