THIS DAY IN HISTORY: 1985- North and South Korea opened their borders for their family reunion program.

DAILY MENU: Pepper jack Double Cheese Burger with Guacamole served with Cajun Fries. Grilled Turkey and Feta Sandwich w/Garlic Aioli served w/Cajun Fries. Grilled Vegetable Sandwich on WG Sourdough w/Garlic Aioli.

TODAY: Come See...McFarland, USA, today @ 5:30pm west conference room, DHS Library. McFarland, USA will be shown as an opportunity of DHS Students who are learning English as a second language or have been reclassified English fluent proficient to spend time together. Any student who is a member of our English Language Department may attend, and they are welcome to bring their friends and/ or families. See you there!

Many students have concerns about new and old school policies ranging from the bell schedule to not having candy announcements. If you have any questions comments or concerns about the school, please come to the ever Blue Devil Town Hall on today @ lunch in N1-A and voice your opinion to your school Board Representative.

First Feminist Club meeting is today. Come to Mrs. Wilkerson's room L-20 during lunch to discuss plans for this year.

Is the state-championship-winning DHS Ski Team right for you? If you are at least an intermediate skier, come find out more at the informational meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. in the Davis High School Library. ACADEMICS/OPPORTUNITIES/EVENTS:
DSHS will offer the PSAT/NMSQT on Saturday 10/14!! The cost is $24.00. There are NO Refunds and no transfers. Sales end 10/3. There are a limited number of tests available. If you feel this is a financial hardship, please contact your counselor immediately. A PSAT/NMSQT Student Guide containing further information regarding the test, scholarship, and sample questions is available to any student who purchases the test. Come to the Testing Coordinator office in the admin office for a copy.
Juniors only: Online purchasing is available 9/5-10/3 @ dshs.djusd.net
Sophomores: Online purchasing is available 9/18-10/3 @ dshs.djusd.net and is subject to availability.
In-person sign-ups will be held during lunch only, 9/25-10/3 at the Finance Office outside window.
Students or parents can pay in person via credit card, cash or check payable to Davis High School or DHS.

Hey CSF! Registration ends this Friday @ lunch. Pick up a pink application from the Library, front office or P-13. Bring $5 dollars, your application and report card to P-13. School Loop print out ARE NOT ACCEPTED. Hope to see you there!

Attention Everyone! Picture Make-Up Day is September 26 @ the North Gym. If you purchase an ASB Card please make sure you take your receipt or need your student ID please don't miss the make-up date. If you need Lifetouch forms to order, please come to the front desk and ask for one.

The Hurricane Harvey School Supply and Shirt Drive is taking place now through Friday, 9/29. Please bring school supplies and DHS shirts to the boxes in the front office.

Do you like debating controversial topics? If yes, come to N-2 this Friday for DHS Politics Club. This week's discussion is on Religious Freedom vs. Civil Rights.

Asian Student Union is finally holding their first meeting on Friday, September 22 in room C-4 @ lunch. We will be discussing future plans and playing games!

Hey Key Clubbers! There will be registration at lunch in front of S-12 until Friday, September 22. It costs $11.50 to register and old members must bring their spring hour's sheet.

Register for the National Honor Society! We will be outside S-12 from 9/18 through 9/29. Bring $5 dollars and a transcript from last semester. Active members should also bring hour's sheet. We look forward to seeing you there!

Guys, gals, and non-binary pals! Interested in getting involved with the LGBTQ Community? Come to the GSA meeting this Friday at lunch in Mr. Moore's room P-21, on the second floor near the elevator!
