DHS ski and snowboard swap Sunday Nov. 12 - 9am-2pm in the DHS South Gym near the quad. New and used ski and snowboard equipment and clothing. DHS Boy's Lacrosse Info Night will be held on November 7 in the DHS Library at 7pm. We will be going over important information about the upcoming lacrosse season. We encourage all prospective and returning players and their parent to attend this meeting. All are welcome!
ACADEMICS/OPPORTUNITIES/EVENTS:
Attention Senior Parents! Can you believe it is already time to start thinking about Grad Night? Grad Night tickets are now on sale. Every graduating senior in Davis (DaVinci, DSIS, King and DHS) is welcome to celebrate at this All-night, alcohol and drug free party on Friday, June 8th from 9:30 pm- 5:00am. Visit davisgradnight.org<http://davisgradnight.org>  to purchase tickets. Tickets are $75.00 until February 1st. So get your tickets before prices go up. Ticket includes all activities, food, and raffle entry.

Seniors, Prestige Photography will be on campus on Friday, November 3rd, 2017 to take senior photos.
If you have not taken your senior photos please make sure to contact Marlen Cabrera, VP Secretary right away via email mosoriocabrera at djusd.net<mailto:mosoriocabrera at djusd.net> or by phone (530)757-5400 Ext: 113. If you want to appear in the senior section of the yearbook, you must take your senior photo through Prestige. The cost is $20 if you wish to purchase proofs and select your yearbook photo, or free if you do not wish to purchase proofs.

Save the DATE: DHS Upcoming Climate Meeting is Tuesday, Nov. 7th at Lunch. More information to come next week.
DSHS will host the SAT on Saturday, November 4th. Arrive to N-04 at 7:45am to get your room assignment. You must have your registration ticket and photo ID to enter. Photo ID on cell phone will not be accepted. Remember to bring your calculator. Test begins promptly at 8am - NO late entry. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
Do you want help on your math homework? Come join Mr.Gonzales at the DSH Library After-Hours Program every Wednesday and Thursday from 5:45pm-7:30pm.



Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to the present moment and noticing the thoughts and sensations that arise. Who should practice mindfulness? Everyone who would like to feel calmer, more connected, and generally happier. Mindfulness training will be held in room O-5 every Wednesday from 2:45 to 3:15. For more information contact Ms. Tabor in O-5.

Hey DHS! The Digital Media Arts Club is returning this Thursday at lunch in the photo room A-7! Anyone interested in photography, film, and graphic design come join us. See you there!

Please join us at the next Latinos Unidos meeting on Tuesday in room O-6 during lunch. Dr. Melisa Moreno will be presenting on the "Meaning of El Dia de los Muertos."

Trivia Bowl! Trivia Bowl is a super fun competition where students have to answer questions from a variety of categories. The team that answers the most questions and wins the most games will win their own prize. For more info, come pic up an application from N-1A, the Student Government room. All applications are due by Nov.10.

Guten Morgen! Want to learn about German Culture, play German board games, and eat German food? Join the German Club in P-13 this Tuesday at lunch!
