Davis Senior High School Athletics announces online registration. Say goodbye to the 10-page paper packet! Beginning June 1st, the athletic department will be rolling out the new system for the 2017-2018 school year.  Athletes in grades 9-12 will submit their sports paperwork via the new online system. TODAY:  Today is the Career Center's Annual Summer Activities, Job and Scholarship Fair! Come to the fair at lunch outside the Career Center TODAY for information and applications for scholarships, jobs and volunteer opportunities and various summer activities and programs.  See you there!

ACADEMICS: Seniors! Karl of Herff-Jones will be here during lunch on Tuesday, April 4th for class rings and graduation announcements.  Also, juniors! Come by to receive information on your class of 2018 class rings

OPPORTUNITIES/EVENTS/MISCELLANEOUS: If you would like to know more about UC Santa Cruz, come to the Career Center on Thursday at lunch to hear a former DHS student discuss his experiences and hear his suggestions on applying and being a successful student at UCSC.

Local scholarships for Davis high school students are available now!  Come to the Career Center this week to pick up local scholarship applications so you can work on them over spring break.   Spring break is a great time to fill out scholarship applications and have them ready to turn in by the April 7 deadline!

Apply to be a Friendship Day Facilitator!  Applications are available in Mr. Williams' room, P-14.  Due in Room P-14 or to Mr. Williams' mailbox Friday, March 24.

Seniors, the 2017 Graduation Speech Applications are now available!  If you are interested in speaking at the 2017 Graduation Ceremony, please see Carmen Schnathorst to pick up an application.  Applications are due Friday, April 7, 2017 at 4:00pm.  No late applications accepted.

The DHS Car Club is hosting the Davis High Car Show on Saturday, April 15th from 10:00 am-1:00 pm in the DHS stadium parking lot.  Come to spectate, or bring a cool car if you got one!  If you are bringing a car, please arrive at 9:30 am.  No application is required and food will be available for purchase.  Follow us on Instagram at dhscarclub.

Wednesday, March 22nd, is the deadline for submitting information and articles for the April edition of the Davis High School PTA newsletter. Please send news, announcements, etc. to the DHS PTA Media Listserve at DHSPTAmedia at mailman.dcn.org<mailto:DHSPTAmedia at mailman.dcn.org> and include your name, email address and phone number in case the newsletter editor has questions about your submission. Please note that not every submission is automatically included. Inclusion is at the discretion of our communications committee and is subject to timing, the appropriate venue(s), and frequency of the request(s).

Sports Physical Clinic will be held on Saturday, June 3 from 8:30 - 11:30 am, Sutter Family Medicine, 2030 Sutter Pl., Suite 200, Davis.  Athletes in grades 7-12 are encouraged to complete their sports physicals this spring for the 2017-2018 school year.  A $20 donation for participation in the clinic will be donated to benefit DHS Athletics.  Bring your Sports Physical Exam form filled out and signed by a parent to participate in the clinic.  Physical forms are available in the DHS Front Office or on the Athletics page of the DHS website, forms folder: https://dshs.djusd.net

CLUBS:  Cupiosexual describes a person who wants a sexual relationship but does not experience sexual attraction.  Want to know more and enjoy some free snacks?  Come to the GSA meeting this Friday at lunch in Mr. Wheeler's room, L-20.

Hey CSF! Come to our general meeting this Friday at lunch in Room P-13.

Attention CSF Seniors: If you are graduating as an active lifetime member, you are eligible to apply for our CSF chapter scholarship.  Due date is Tuesday, April 25.  Come to P-13 for application details.

Attention CSF: We will have a mandatory officer meeting at lunch in Room P-13 on Friday, April 7th.  If you are interested in becoming a CSF officer next year, be sure to come.  Also, please pick up an officer application in Mrs. O'Brien's room, P-13.  Hope to see you there!
