TODAY: It's that time of year again...the National Science League tests are being given! It's your change to get recognized for your science knowledge and be part of a winning team. Chemistry test will be given Wednesday May 4th at lunch in room S-09, Physics on Thursday May 5th at lunch in room S-12 and Biology on Friday May 6th at lunch in room S-05.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS:  Attention AP Testers! Wednesday, May 4 - Morning - English Literature & Comp Vets Memorial @ 7:30.  Afternoon Japanese Language and Culture Library Lab and Physics 2: Algebra based Vets Memorial @ 11:30.  You must bring your photo ID for entry.  No exceptions.

The end of the year banquet for Davis FFA is coming up.  Join us on May 12 to see the installments of new officers, senior officer retiring addresses and an awards ceremony.  RSVP to Ms. Michel in O1-A.

If you are interested in learning about the United States Army, come to the quad at lunch on Thursday, May 5 to speak with an army representative.

SENIORS: A new local scholarship is available!  The Davis Chamber of Commerce is offering a $500 scholarship to students planning to attend a two or four-year college in the fall.  Deadline to apply is May 20.  Come to the Career Center for an application.

SENIORS: Did you apply for a local scholarship?  Names of scholarship recipients are starting to arrive, so come to the Career Center to see if your name is on the list of recipients!  The list is posted in the Career Center's windows and will be continually updated as scholarship recipient names are received.

ACADEMICS/CAREERS/OPPORTUNITIES/EVENTS:  Attention Seniors! With Senior Ball in the past, it's time to look to the future.  Grad Night ticket prices increase soon.  Visit DavisGradNight.org for your all expenses-paid ticket today or see your counselor for a scholarship.  Time is running out!

Student Comedy Night has been moved to May 19th from 6:00-8:00 pm.  Come out and show us your funny side! Applications are available in N-01A.

Attention Juniors & Sophomores:  Are you not happy with your new 2016-17 schedule? Do you feel that you're missing that perfect class to bring it all together? Add the LEAD class to your schedule next year! Help promote goodwill and friendship in your school and community. Come talk to Mrs. Butler in L-21 if you're interested.
