Davis High School Basketball Camp will be held Monday, June 13 to Thursday, June 16, at the Davis Senior High School North Gym. The camp is open to fourth to eighth grade girls and boys, will run from 8am to noon. The Basketball Camp will focus on the fundamentals of basketball along with competitive games and drills. TODAY: Non-binary gender is an umbrella term referring to any gender identity outside the man/woman gender binary.  Want to learn more and eat some snacks?  Come to the Gay-Straight Alliance meeting on Friday at lunchtime in L-20, Mr. Wheeler's room above the library.  This meeting features a guest speaker from the District who will talk about LGBT inclusion in health curricula.

AP Test in-person sales end today at lunchtime at the Finance Office window.

Chess Club is every Friday at lunch in Room N-11.  Anyone can come and all levels are accepted.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS:  Hello beautiful and talented men of Davis High, it's that time of year!  Mr. Blue Devil applications are available in the Student Government Room, N-1A, so get your booties over there and grab an application.  They are due March 17th in Room N-1A!

The AP Art Studio list for 2016-17 has been posted in all Art rooms and the portfolio room.

Sacramento State College of Engineering and Computer Science is hosting an Engineering & Computer Science Expo on Saturday, March 12 from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.  The expo will feature numerous interactive activities, projects and the annual Robot Rumble.  Come to the Career Center for more information.

ACADEMICS/CAREERS/OPPORTUNITIES/EVENTS:  COMING NEXT WEEK -- THE CAREER CENTER'S ANNUAL SUMMER ACTIVITIES, SCHOLARSHIP AND JOB FAIR!!!  If you're looking for something to do this summer, need a job, or need extra money for college, you won't want to miss this event!  The fair will feature job applications, scholarship applications, and information about volunteering and summer activities.  The fair will take place outside the Career Center on Tuesday, March 15 at lunch. See you there!

Come and see 'The Eden Project. '   You won't want to miss this galactic adventure!  Student tickets are $8 with ID.  Performances are 3/10, 3/11, 3/12 at 7:00 in the IPAB!

Hey Blue Devils! Have a burning desire to be a Friendship Day Facilitator?  Then today is your lucky day!  Pick up an application to be a Friendship Day Facilitator from Mr. Williams' room, P-14 or the Front Office and turn them in by March 18th.

It's College Tour time!  The City of Davis is offering its annual So-Cal College Tour Trip for high school students.  Colleges on the tour are UC Santa Cruz, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, UC Santa Barbara, University of Southern California, California Institute of the Arts and Claremont McKenna College.  The trip will take place the week of March 21-24.  Cost is $500 which includes transportation, college tours, breakfast, dinner and hotels.  Come to the Career Center for more information.

Lead Class applications are available in L-23 or the Front Office.  Be a peer helper next year and make a difference for our Blue Devil Family!

Attention AP Students: AP exams are available for purchase in the Webstore now!  $97 per test.  No refunds, so purchase carefully.  In-person sales end Friday, March 11th @ lunch only at the Finance Office outside window.  If you are in need of financial assistance, please contact your counselor immediately.

Grad Night! Every graduating senior in Davis (Da Vinci, DSIS, King and DHS) is welcome to celebrate at this all-night, off-the-hook, alcohol/drug-free party on Friday, June 10. BSU is meeting on Wednesday, 3/16 at lunch in the football team room.  We will be completing our paperwork for the field trip to the Stanford Youth Empowerment Conference!
