TODAY:  Join the DHS Unicef Club!  Help make a difference around the world one student at a time by fighting for the survival and development of children around the world!  Meetings are ever other Monday at lunchtime in Mr. Williams’ room (L-23).

ACADEMICS:  Hey Link Leaders and Sophomores!  On December 13, 15 and 16, Link Crew will be holding finals study sessions in L-23 (Mr. Williams’ room).  On the 13th and the 16th, hours will be from 2:30-5:30 pm, and on the 15th, it will be from 12:10 to 5:00 pm.  Sophomores are welcome to study by themselves or ask Link Leaders for tutoring.  Hope to see you there and study hard for finals!

If you’re interested in pursuing a career in business or healthcare, come to the Career Center on Tuesday, December 6 at lunch to hear a Cambridge Junior College representative discuss their business and healthcare career training programs.

Any student interested in taking AP Art Studio next year may want to come to our informational meeting in A-1 on Friday, Dec. 9.  Bring your lunch.

OPPORTUNITIES/EVENTS/MISCELLANEOUS: DHS Climate Committee meeting date has changed. Please consider joining us during our next meeting, Wednesday, December 7th at 12:00 pm (lunchtime) in the West Conference Room in the library.  Are you interested in being part of a group that is dedicated to improving our school, increasing school spirit and making DHS a welcoming place for all students? Learn to be financially savvy!  On December 16 beginning at 11:55, the Yolo Federal Credit Union, in partnership with the PTA, will hold the first free Financial Literacy class in the Career Center.   Pizza will be provided.  The topic will be Debit Cards and How They Work, and Checks (check writing, balancing a check book and more)."   Sign-up in the Career Center.  The class size is limited to the first 30 students who sign-up.
