ANNOUNCEMENTS:  Senior Portrait Make-Up Day is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, 2015 here at DSHS. If you don't receive an appointment card, please call Prestige Studios as soon as possible at the number given.

Come buy your Fall Dance tickets at the Finance Office window during lunch or after school this week or check the webstore online.  No tickets will be sold at the door! $20 or $15 with ASB card.

The Junior Class will be building their Homecoming float this week from 4:00-8:00 pm every day after school at Good Year, 2222 5th St.  This is a great way to get community service hours.  Volunteers will be painting and building the float.  All juniors are welcome!

Performances for our Fall musical, "Band Geeks" are approaching!  Performances are at the IPAB as follows; 11/6, 11/7, 11/12, 11/13 and 11/14 at 7:00 pm and one performance on 11/8 at 2:00 pm.  Pre-sale ticket sales start soon!

All Students - Interested in leaving the legacy of the ALL Student Center?  We are looking for your input and participation during the design and construction phases of this project. ACADEMICS/CAREER/VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:  Are you interested in learning about the Air Force ROTC program?  If so, come to the Career Center on Wednesday, October 7th at lunch to hear a representative discuss the benefits of the Air Force ROTC.

Do you like cupcakes?  Come to the 2nd FFA Meeting on October 7th at 10:00 in O1-A.  Then we will be decorating cupcakes and having cupcake contests and of course, we get to eat them!

CLUBS/EVENTS:  Hey Key Clubbers! Our 2nd general meeting is this Wednesday, October 7th in Room S-12 at lunch.  Stop by to sign up for projects and learn about our Fall Social!  There will be food!  See you there!

Are you deathly afraid of spiders? Or...just love bugs, bugs and bugs some more? You should come to the Entomology Club every Tuesday at lunch in S-10.  You will take part in the first official club meeting where you will learn that spiders, although invertebrates, are not insects.

Are you interested in joining the global efforts to promote health?  Would you like to become involved in health-related community service?  Come to the first general meeting of the Health Awareness Club on Tuesday, October 6 in Room S-5.
