ATHLETICS:   Basketball players in grades 4th-8th are invited to the annual DHS Blue Devil Basketball Camp June 15-18. Attention all incoming 9-12th grade girls interested in trying out for Davis High girls volleyball in the Fall.  There will be a player/parent information meeting on Tuesday, May 26 at 5:00 pm in the DHS small gym.  Meet the coaches, receive summer practice schedule and tryout information.  Don't miss out.  Contact coach Crawford with any questions.

Annual Sports Physical Clinic at Sutter Family Practice - Saturday, June 6th - 8:30-11:30 am at 2030 Sutter Place. $20 donation benefits DHS Athletics. Athletes in grades 7-12 are encouraged to get their sports physicals done in preparation for the 2015-16 school year. TODAY: Beeep! Beeeeeeeeeeep! This is a public service announcement! Seniors, happiness is closer than you think! Senior Friendship Day is today, Thursday, May 21st at the DHS Football Stadium during 3rd and 5th periods.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS: Seniors, if you missed the Senior Assembly, please stop by Mrs. Perez' desk in the Administration building to pick up the information you missed.  If you attended the assembly and have not yet turned in your request for your 4 free Graduation tickets, please do so today; without this information seating preference cannot be guaranteed.

Grad Night tickets:  Tickets are $90 through this month and then will increase to $110 in June.  You can purchase a ticket right now via brown paper tickets or by printing a paper ticket and sending mailing it in with payment.  Both methods are accessible via www.davisgradnight.org<http://www.davisgradnight.org> right now.  Students can purchase entrance into Grad Night at the door for $110. Committee members will be on campus during the last week of May for sales at lunch near the finance office.

ACADEMICS/CAREERS/OPPORTUNITIES:  VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY! The Madison Migrant Center near Esparto has volunteer opportunities for high school students at their after school migrant youth summer camp.  Volunteers will help 7-14 year old migrant youth with arts and crafts, homework, computer programs, sports, field trips, and more.  Come to the Career Center for an application.

UC Davis Veterinary Medicine invites you to attend the 4-H Animal Science Symposium and Youth Career Fair on May 27 from 5:30-7:00 p.m.  You will interact and learn about animal science and agriculture, available careers in animal science, educational opportunities and top industry issues.   Come to the Career Center for more information.

Seniors: have you received any scholarships or awards not administered by the Career Center, such as scholarships from colleges or outside organizations?  If so, come to the Career Center and sign the "Outside Award" list.  These awards will be announced at Senior Awards Night on Tuesday, June 2 at 6:00 pm in the IPAB.

SENIORS:  Did you apply for a local scholarship?  Names of scholarship recipients are starting to arrive, so come to the Career Center to see if your name is on the list of recipients!  The list is posted in the Career Center's window.

CLUBS/EVENTS:   Last chance to see Jazz Choir! The Jazz Choir will cap its 2014-15 season with Jazz-N-Pops at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6th in the Richard Brunelle Performance Hall. We will feature favorites from throughout the year as well as a fun flash-back to the '70s with a song and dance medley from "Jersey Boys" and lots of small group performances. Pre-sale tickets available from Jazz Choir members and at Watermelon Music ($5.00 students, $8.00 adults).  All tickets the day of the program will be $10.00. The box office opens at 6:00 p.m. and doors open at 6:30p.m.

Attention all CSF members!  Tomorrow, Friday, May 22nd, there will be a general meeting where we will discuss projects and Senior Awards Night.  This is our last meeting date for the school year, so if you need meeting attendance for lifetime membership, make sure to come!

All students are invited to attend the first annual UC Davis Pride Youth Leadership Conference<https://prideyouth.wordpress.com/> on Saturday, May 23, 2015 from 9:30am-4:30pm inside the Student Community Center & LGBTQIA Resource Center on the UC Davis campus.  Students will learn about and discuss social justice and topics such as gender, gender identity and presentation, status, sexual orientation and privilege. Please see Ms. Istas in L-29 for more information.

Turn in your continuing club application so you don't have to worry over summer vacation!  Off the Student Government website and into C-4, you'll be more prepared for the upcoming school year than before!  Friday, May 29th is the final due date, turn them in so your club can continue, don't be late!

The Davis Homeless Shelter is in need of supplies: nonperishable foods, soaps and shampoos as well as gently-used jackets, etc. are being collected in a donation bin inside the front office.  Anything helps! Thank you!
