If you are interested in running for an officer position, please come to the meeting and pick up an application.  Applications are due Friday April 3 and candidates must attend a lunch meeting on that day with current officers.  See you there!

ACADEMICS/CAREERS/OPPORTUNITIES: SENIORS:  Did you miss the Summer Activities and Scholarship Fair on Tuesday?  Don't worry - all information and applications available at the Fair for scholarships, summer programs, internship and volunteer opportunities can be found in the Career Center.  Come to the Career Center for all this information and more!

If you or a family member has an old formal gown, please consider donating the dress to the DHS Dress Swap!  Turn in dresses to C-4 or the Front Office.  We will be lending dresses library style on April 2nd, 6th and 7th.  Please donate to make prom possible.

Seniors, if you are interested in being a student speaker at 2015 Graduation Ceremony, please stop by the Front Office and pick up a Graduation Speech application from Ms. Kimberly Perez.  Application and typewritten speech are due April 2, 2015 by 4:00 pm.  If you have any questions, please see Ms. Perez or VP Amelia Hess.

CLUBS/EVENTS:  Don't forget to come join the DHS Persian Club to celebrate Persian New Year at L-27 today at lunch!  There will be cheesecake, Persian cuisine and lots of fun!  Happy Persian New Year!

Cancer Awareness Club Fact of the Week: 50% is the lifetime risk of developing cancer for a man in the U.S.

Expression Fest is back!  Do you want to express yourself through art, music, writing or other forms?  Then go to L-23 and pick up a DHS Expression Fest form!  Applications are due by April 3rd.

Hey, Hey, Hey! It's not Friendship Day yet BUT if you become a Friendship Day Facilitator, it can be 7 times a year!  Pick up a Friendship Day Application in Mr. Williams' room (P-14) or in the Front Office and join us for an informational meeting on Friday, March 20th.  Applications are due April 3rd to the Front Office or to Mr. Williams.

Attention: Student leaders of Clubs, Booster Groups, ASB:  Wednesday, March 25th is the deadline for submitting information and articles for the April 2015 DHS PTA Newsletter.  Please send news, announcements, etc. to the DHS PTA Media Listserve at DHSPTAmedia at mailman.dcn.org<mailto:DHSPTAmedia at mailman.dcn.org> and include: name, parent/faculty name, contact information (phone and email) in case of questions about your submission.  The newsletter is generally available around the 1st of the month.  This is a great way to inform, notify and enlist parents' help for upcoming DHS school and student activities.
