IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS: Krystal Lau is an award-winner in the C-SPAN StudentCam Documentary Competition and they will be here to celebrate her in the Brunelle Theater at lunch on March 20th.  Come view her award-winning short documentary, "The Cost of Knowledge," about President Obama's plan for 2 free years of Community College.

ACADEMICS/CAREERS/OPPORTUNITIES: SENIORS:  Did you miss the Summer Activities and Scholarship Fair on Tuesday?  Don't worry - all information and applications available at the Fair for scholarships, summer programs, internship and volunteer opportunities can be found in the Career Center.  Come to the Career Center for all this information and more!

A new local scholarship for Davis students is available! The Roy and Cynthia Kroener Family Scholarship is offering $3,000 to $5,000 to seniors who plan to attend college and have financial need. Come to the Career Center to get applications for all local scholarships now available for Davis students. Spring break is a great time to work on scholarship applications and have them ready to turn in by the April 3 deadline!

The DHS Dress Swap wants to lend dresses to students so prom is more affordable!  We need dress donations! Please donate gently-used formal gowns to C-4 or the Front Office.   The Dress Swap Event will be after school April 2nd, 6th and 7th.

Seniors, if you are interested in being a student speaker at 2015 Graduation Ceremony, please stop by the Front Office and pick up a Graduation Speech application from Ms. Kimberly Perez.  Application and typewritten speech are due April 2, 2015 by 4:00 pm.  If you have any questions, please see Ms. Perez or VP Amelia Hess.

CLUBS/EVENTS:  DHS Persian Club will be celebrating Persian New Year this Friday, March 20th in L-27.  There will be cake and Persian dishes to enjoy.  Start your spring by celebrating NOROUZ with us!

Expression Fest is back!  Do you want to express yourself through art, music, writing or other forms?  Then go to L-23 and pick up a DHS Expression Fest form!  Applications are due by April 3rd.

Hey, Hey, Hey! It's not Friendship Day yet BUT if you become a Friendship Day Facilitator, it can be 7 times a year!  Pick up a Friendship Day Application in Mr. Williams' room (P-14) or in the Front Office and join us for an informational meeting on Friday, March 20th.  Applications are due April 3rd to the Front Office or to Mr. Williams.
