Attention Senior Blue Devil Athletes - If you have committed to participating at the next level on an athletic team, please join us in celebrating your accomplishments during the signing day ceremony on May 21st at 12:15pm in the quad. Please fill out a questionnaire that can be found in the athletic office and turn in by May 1st.   All students welcome to come out and support.

DHS Football Backers will be hosting The Gridiron Gala, the annual football fundraiser dinner and silent auction on Saturday, May 9th, 5:30 pm at the Vets Memorial Center. For tickets and more information please go to the website at davishighfootball.org

Interested in trying out for the DHS Cheer Squad?  Mandatory Information Nights will be held on Tuesday, April 21st and Wednesday, April 22nd in the DHS Library from 6-8 pm.  Attendance at one info night is required by all interested athletes and one parent/guardian.  You do not need to attend both meetings. Come to Davis Men's Lacrosse Break the Record and Senior Night at the DHS stadium April 24th to enjoy great lacrosse, food from local restaurants and music by the Madrigals.  JV game is at 5:30, honoring our seniors at 7:15 with Varsity game to follow at 7:30.

STAFF and STUDENTS: The DSHS Spirit Store is now open for sales with a variety of items available.  Go to the DSHS website, click on the webstore and you will see the merchandise. Simply purchase items, print your receipt, and pick up in the athletics office.  Open to the public.  TIME TO SHOP!

Annual Sports Physical Clinic at Sutter Family Practice - Saturday, June 6th - 8:30-11:30am at 2030 Sutter Place. $20 donation benefits DHS Athletics. Athletes in grades 7-12 are encouraged to get their sports physicals done in preparation for the 2015-16 school year. Sports Physical Packets are available to download from the Davis High website Athletics page. Questions? Contact DHS Athletics, 757-5400 x125.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS: 10th Graders: You will all be taking the CST Science Test on Tuesday, April 21 during 2nd and 3rd periods. If your last name begins with A-P, you are testing in the North Gym. If your last name begins with Q-Z, you will test in the South Gym. Please report to your testing location by 8:55 with your student ID.

Seniors, there will be a mandatory Senior Assembly on Thursday, April 23, 2015 during 5th period in the North Gym.  Please make sure you check in with your 5th period teacher for attendance and then report to the North Gym immediately.  At the assembly you will be asked to request your 4 free tickets for graduation (bleachers vs field) and also to complete a permanent address card for counseling. If you have any questions see Ms. Kimberly Perez in the front office.

SENIORS: Ride in style to Prom in a bus filled with friends! Come buy tickets for the bus at lunch! Make sure to pick up a permission slip in C-4 and bring $25.00 & your ID card.

Grad Night ticket sales Committee members will be distributing Grad Night Ticket forms and collecting forms and payments during lunch next to the finance office every Monday, Tuesday and Friday until April 24th.

Senior Ball ticket sales are at lunch through April 24th in the Finance Office. Before buying your ticket, you have to fill out a table organizer which can be found in C-4 and the Finance Office. You only need one person to buy the tickets for your table but you will need everyone's ID and money with you! Buy early because the prices will only get higher.

ACADEMICS/CAREERS/OPPORTUNITIES:  JUNIORS:  Do you want to get an early start on college planning for next year?  If so, come to the Career Center on Tuesday, April 21 at lunch to hear admission representatives from Carleton, St. Olaf, Macalester and Colorado College speak about their colleges and answer questions.  This is a convenient way to learn about colleges you may be interested in!  See you in the Career Center Tuesday at lunch!

A new scholarship is available for DHS students!  If you have overcome adversity or helped someone else overcome adversity, simply submit an essay describing your experience and you could receive one of two $500 Project Pink Scholarships!   Deadline to apply is May 12.  Come to the Career Center for an application.

CLUBS/EVENTS:  The deadline is coming!  Link Crew applications are due this Friday, April 24th.  Come apply to be a part of this amazing organization of kind and dedicated students.  Come to L-23 to turn in your application.

Attention car lovers! Get out the polish and start buffing that paint! It's almost time for Devil Day Car Show! The show will be hosted on the quad on Wednesday, May 20th by our very own DHS Car Club. Pick up and return your application to room O-3 or the main office. Students and non-students may apply. Winners receive a $20 O'Reilly's gift card. Don't wait!  Apps are due by May 1st. Get your application in early for this year's Devil Day Car Show!

Attention CSF seniors: Please check the lists posted in the window of Mrs. O'Brien room (P-13) to verify your status of active lifetime or lifetime membership.  You must also initial the list to verify the spelling of your name. The last day to verify your status is April 22.

Also, if you are a CSF senior who is graduating as an active lifetime member, you are eligible to apply for the CSF chapter scholarship.  Applications are available in P-13.  Applications are due by 2:30 pm on Wednesday, April 29.
