Annual Sports Physical Clinic at Sutter Family Practice - Saturday, June 6th - 8:30-11:30am at 2030 Sutter Place. $20 donation benefits DHS Athletics. Athletes in grades 7-12 are encouraged to get their sports physicals done early to be ready for the 2015-16 school year. TODAY: Don't miss Davis High School's own Momentum Dance Company, May 1st at 7:00 pm in the IPAB! This one night only is a great way to see just how creative your fellow students are! Tickets go on sale Monday, April 13th!
SENIORS: Ride in style to Prom in a bus filled with friends! Come buy tickets for the bus starting at lunch! Make sure to pick up a permission slip in C-4 and bring $25.00 & your ID card.
Grad Night ticket sales Committee members will be distributing Grad Night Ticket forms and collecting forms and payments during lunch in the quad every Monday, Tuesday and Friday until April 24th.
Senior Ball ticket sales are at lunch today in the Finance Office. Before buying your ticket, you have to fill out a table organizer which can be found in C-4 and the Finance Office. You only need one person to buy the tickets for your table but you will need everyone's ID and money with you! Buy early because the prices will only get higher. Tickets start at $65 with ASB card and $75 without.
ACADEMICS/CAREERS/OPPORTUNITIES - SENIORS: There are still some local scholarships available for DHS students. If you participated in girls scouts, soccer, are of East Indian descent or have financial need and a 3.0 GPA, you might qualify for one or more of these scholarships! Come to the Career Center to pick up an application.
Are you interested in learning about aviation? The Aerospace Museum of California is sponsoring a 4-day Aerospace Summer Camp for students ages 13-17. Each participant will take a short flight with a registered pilot! Come to the Career Center for more information.
Attention car lovers! Get out the polish and start buffing that paint! It's almost time for Devil Day Car Show! The show will take place on the quad Wednesday, May 20th, and is hosted by our very own DHS Car Club. Pick up and return your application in room O-3 or in the main office. Students and non-students may apply. Contest winners receive a $20 O'Reilly's gift card. Don't wait. Apps are due by May 1st. Get your application in early for this year's Devil Day Car Show!
Are you interested in Cardiology? Come to the Health Care Careers Club in the Career Center on Tuesday, April 14th at lunchtime. Dr. Frances Canet, a cardiologist will speak about her career. Snacks will be provided!
Attention AP Students! The AP Test Schedule has been posted on the Testing Coordinator's bulletin board in the Front Office.
The Kremen Lab at UC Berkeley is offering a paid summer apprenticeship in Yolo County to help students gain research experience and learn about native bee pollinators and ecology. Students must meet specific criteria for under-represented groups in scientific fields to participate. Come to the Career Center for more information.

Did you miss the deadline for DHS Expression Fest? No worries! You can still pick up an application in L-23 and it is due by April 17th. Come express yourself and your creativity.
DHS! Mr. Blue Devil is on Friday, April 17th in the IPAB! Tickets will be on sale at the door - $5 with ASB and $7 without.
Over 30% of cancer could be prevented by avoiding tobacco and alcohol, eating a healthy diet and having physical activities. Come to N-12 on Friday, April 17th for the Cancer Awareness Club's next meeting.
Attention CSF seniors: Please check the lists posted in the window of Mrs. O'Brien room (P-13) to verify your status of active lifetime or lifetime membership. You must also initial the list to verify the spelling of your name. The last day to verify your status is April 22.
Also, if you are a CSF senior who is graduating as an active lifetime member, you are eligible to apply for the CSF chapter scholarship. Applications are available in P-13. Applications are due by 2:30 pm on Wednesday, April 29.
