TODAY: SENIORS: TODAY, FRIDAY APRIL 3 is the deadline to submit applications for many local scholarships! It's not too late to pick up local scholarship applications and fill them out. Bring your completed applications to the Career Center this FRIDAY BY 4:00 P.M.!
Attention CSF members who are sophomores and juniors: Are you interested in running for an officer position? Pick up an application in Mrs. O'Brien's room, P-13. In addition, to be considered for the ballot you must attend the officer meeting this Friday at lunch in P-13 and turn in your application by then. Elections are April 10.
Come out and support Davis FFA Plant Sale on April 3rd 3:30-5:30 pm and April 4th, 9:00 am-12:00 pm. It's an awesome opportunity to support your school and get beautiful flowers and vegetables at a good price.
Expression Fest is back! Do you want to express yourself through art, music, writing or other forms? Then go to L-23 and pick up a DHS Expression Fest form! Applications are due by April 3rd.
Hey, Hey, Hey! It's not Friendship Day yet BUT if you become a Friendship Day Facilitator, it can be 7 times a year! Pick up a Friendship Day Application in Mr. Williams' room (P-14) and turn it in by today, April 3rd, to the Front Office or to Mr. Williams.
If you want to know what it's like to go to college, come to the Career Center on Friday, April 3 at lunch to hear a panel of UC Davis students describe their college experiences, the application process, social activities, finding a particular career and more! The panel will answer your questions and give advice on how to succeed in college. Snacks will be provided! See you in the Career Center Friday at lunch.
ACADEMICS/CAREERS/OPPORTUNITIES: The DHS Philosophy Club is meeting this Monday, April 6th during lunch in Mr. Achimore's room, P-21. We will discuss identity - its nature and significance. We will also prepare for the future officers of the club for next year.

Are you interested in learning about the United States Army? If so, Army representatives will be hosting an information table and football toss on the quad Tuesday, April 7th at lunch. See you on the quad on Tuesday!
CLUBS/EVENTS: Cancer Awareness Club Fact of the Week: Accounting for nearly half of all cancers in the U.S., skin cancer is the most common type of cancer. Come to our club meeting this Friday at lunch in Room N-12.
Attention CSF seniors: Please check the lists posted in the window of Mrs. O'Brien room (P-13) to verify your status of active lifetime or lifetime membership. You must also initial the list to verify the spelling of your name. The last day to verify your status is April 22.
Also, if you are a CSF senior who is graduating as an active lifetime member, you are eligible to apply for the CSF chapter scholarship. Applications are available in P-13. Applications are due by 2:30 pm on Wednesday, April 29.
