The Davis High Girls Golf Team will have an informational meeting for girls entering 9th through 12th grade in the Fall of 2013. Parent and golfers, please attend to learn more about the Fall season and summer opportunities. The meeting is April 18th at 7:00 pm at the high school in room N-08. If you are a senior and have been active member of NHS for at least four semesters, then you are eligible to buy an NHS Honor Chord for graduation for $7!  Please contact the NHS or any of the officers if you are interested.  Requests are due by April 18.

Prom Ticket sold at lunchtime only!  Senior Ball Tickets are on sale this week for $65 with ASB and $75 without at the Finance Window.

NEW: College Information Night for Juniors and their parents is Tuesday, April 23 at 7:00 p.m. starting in the IPAB.  You can learn about public and private colleges and universities, community colleges, scholarships and financial aid, college entrance testing and more during breakout sessions.  Join us on the 23rd to find out more about the process of applying to colleges!

If you need a ride to Senior Ball, make sure to buy a bus ticket during lunch.  They'll cost $25 and you'll need to fill out a bus contract that can be found in C-4 or the Student Government Events Page.

CSFers!  Time is running out to come to your general meetings this semester, so be sure to attend Friday's general meeting during lunch in Ms. O'Brien's room, P-13.  Only two meetings are left after this Friday!  See you there!

Day of Silence is hosted by the DHS Gay-Straight Alliance this Friday, 4/19.  Try to remain completely silent for all or part of Friday to support your lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender classmates.  Come join us!

ONGOING/UPCOMING:   Please nominate a teacher you think is most deserving of the honor of Rotarian Teacher of the Year for the 2012-13 School Year.  The criteria for consideration are listed below as is the nomination form available in the front office. Please return the form with an attached description of your nominee to Kate Prien, Site Secretary, no later than noon on Friday, May 10, 2013.

Attention all Math and Science Tutors: There will be a mandatory meeting this Friday, April 19th in S-9 at lunchtime.  We will be electing officers for next year so be sure to attend!

Seniors!  It's not too soon to think about Grad Night 2013!  The tickets cover food, drinks and entertainment.
Scholarships are available through school counselors.  This event is an all-night party for graduating DJUSD Seniors! SENIORS:  There are still some local scholarships available for DHS students, including two that were just added to the Scholarship Bulletin!  Come to the Career Center THIS WEEK to see if you qualify for any of these scholarships and to pick up an application.

Attention Blue Devils! Interested in healthcare careers?  The DHS Healthcare Career Club has joined with the DHS Engineering Club and the Architecture Club to present the Disney Institute's approach to quality service and leadership excellence on Friday, April 19 in the Career Center at lunch.  Come and learn the values that made companies like Disney, Apple and Boeing the top in their industries.

Seniors: Are you interested in being one of the student speakers at your graduation ceremony?  Pick up a graduation speech application from the Front Desk.  Speeches are due by April 25th.

The annual Tribute to Tony Fields is coming up!  Performances are Friday, April 19th and Saturday, April 20th at 7:00 in the IPAB.  Tickets sold at the door: $5 for students and $10 for general admission.

Summer School - Classes will be available for students who need to make up credits.  Pick up a summer school application in the Counseling Office.
