-Attention Blue Devils interested in a career related to pharmacy! The DHS Healthcare Careers Club is hosting a guest speaker from Mercy San Juan Medical Centers Inpatient Pharmacy tomorrow, Friday, March 23 in the Career Center N-17 at lunch. All students are welcome!
-Hola amigas! Latinas Unidas wants you to fill out an application to become an officer. There are 7 different positions available and applications are available today in Room O-6. Fun, fun, fun!

-Reminder: Friday March 23 will be the last day to enter course selections for the 2012-2013 school year in Zangle!
-If you are a senior interested in speaking at graduation, applications are available in C-4 and are due April 20.
-Are you a girl interested in becoming a firefighter? If so, the California Fire Fighter Committee is sponsoring its annual Firefighter Career Expo for women, where you can learn about a fire service career and take a physical ability test. The event is free and includes lunch! Come to the Career Center for more information.
-DHS and Da Vinci artists are exhibiting works of art at the Pence Gallery through Sunday, March 25. Come see what DHS artists can do! The Pence is located at 212 D Street.

-The Blue and White Foundation is currently accepting applications for the Student Activity Grant. Applications can be downloaded from our web site: http://dhsblueandwhite.org . The deadline for this round of applications is April 1st. These grants are for individual students, not student clubs. The following is information regarding eligibility for the grant:
Scholarship funds to support academic endeavors for incoming Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors attending Davis Senior High School. These include Academic Society meetings/workshops/conferences, sports training camps, fine arts workshops/symposiums and assistance with funding for additional expenses related to extramural school activities i.e. costuming, sports equipment or musical instruments (rental or purchased).
These funds must be used while students are attending Davis Senior High School. Exception to this directive may be considered for the time period immediately prior to entering the high school or immediately following graduation, but prior to entering another academic institution.
-SENIORS: If you're planning to attend UCD, have a minimum GPA of 3.5, and you worked at a job during high school, you may qualify for the $12,452 Beeghly-Merritt Scholarship! Applications are now available in the Career Center N-17. The deadline to apply is April 6!
-Seniors: If you are planning on attending Sacramento State University in Fall 2012, you must request a transcript now. Due to this campus being impacted, your acceptance will be rescinded if the transcript is not received by Sacramento State by April 10, 2012. Please order your transcript at the counseling office.
-JUNIORS: Would you like to participate in an all-expense paid Camp Royal leadership camp this summer? Camp Royal is a leadership-training camp filled information, ideas and strategies that will help the camper return to his/her school a more effective leader. The deadline to apply is March 30. Come to the Career Center N-17 for more information and an application.
-We want you for Friendship Day! Facilitator applications are available in either Mr. Williams' room P-14 or in the Front Office. Apply now! :)
-HEY SENIORS! It is time to make your reservation for Grad Night! Grad Night is Friday, June 8 from 9:30 to 5:00 am at Emerson Junior High. No one will be admitted after midnight! Tickets are $90 and the check should be made payable to "Davis Grad Night." Fill out the quick form on the website www.davisgradnight.com<http://www.davisgradnight.com>. An email confirmation will be sent; no tickets will be issued. Senior's name will be on a paid list at Grad Night check-in. Seniors must be eligible to walk in their graduation ceremony to attend and must present an ID to enter Grad Night. You can mail or scan in your kindergarten photo for the Grad Night Kindergarten Wall. You can also mail your reservation. Download the Grad Night form, fill it out and mail your $90. check with your kindergarten picture to: Davis Grad Night Paperless Tickets, P.O. Box 2143, Davis, CA 95617.
