REMINDER

1.	Students: The ID machine has arrived! Students who registered after August 25 and have not yet received their permanent ID card should come to the library to have one made. Come as soon as possible, as temporary ID cards will not longer be honored! Students who purchased an ASB card after registration can also replace their “regular” card with the ASB. Bring the old card and the receipt to the library. Thank you!

2.	Attention all students: Please remember that the old gym is NOT a hallway. Please walk around. This gym is being used all day long for classes and practices and it is very disruptive to have students and other athletes walking through all day long while we are teaching class or having practice!

1.	Cafeteria: BBQ Day, Hamburger, hot dog, chicken patty or veggie patty or sandwich.

2.	Hello CSF’ers! We’re nearing that special time of the year again. Where the excitement in the air is so thick you can almost taste it! Yeppers, you guessed it! Fall registration for CSF will be held at lunch in P-13 from Sept 13th to Sept 24th. Along with completed registration form available in P-13, the office, please bring $5 and last semester’s report card. Hope to see you there!

NEW
1.	The Gay-Straight Alliance” will be meeting at lunch this Friday, September 10th in the East Room of the Library.  The GSA is a safe haven and support for all Blue Devil students. It is as well a forum for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning and straight allies. Please join us as we plan for an eventful year and election of officers. If you have any questions see Mr. Wheeler in the East Room of the library.
2.	Attention all snowboarders. The Davis High snowboard team is a co-ed team that has a lot of fun riding and racing together. 9th-12th graders are welcome. There will be an information meeting for all interested students and parents on Thursday, September 16th at 7:00 PM in the high school MPR. 

3.	The DHS Site Council is looking for a dedicated student to join our committee. The Site Council consists of Principal Moore, staff, parents and students. The Site Council discusses school policies, supports new programs and determines various school budgets at its monthly meetings. If you would like to help shape the future of our school, please pick up an application from Mr. McHale in the office by Thursday, September 9. Applications are due Friday, September 10. This opportunity is open to all students.

4.	All Independent Lifetime Sports students: please remember to turn in all paperwork completed with all signatures along with weekly activity log and assignments on time at the very start of lunch every Monday. If you have not attended class yet, you need to see your teacher of record ASAP.
 

CONTINUED

1.	Want to start a club? Come by C-4 to pick up a club application. Even clubs that existed last year need to re-apply. The applications are due Monday, September 13.

2.	Pictures are in everyone. If you ordered them when you registered please come to front office at LUNCH TIME ONLY to pick them up.

3.	It is college visit time! Colleges and universities from across the country will be visiting Davis Senior High School this fall to meet with interested juniors and seniors. These visits are a great opportunity for students to learn about colleges and meet face to face with admission representatives. A list of upcoming college visits is now posted in front with admission representatives.
