REMINDER
1. Want to win $250??? Compete with some of the best dancers in northern California. The competition will take place in the IPAB on Friday, December 3rd. Check out Youtube and see videos of dancers who will be there. Flyers are up posted all around DHS campus if you would like more information
2. Attention all DHS Clubs if you are interested in having your clubs photo in the yearbook you need to get a form from the office and fill it out and return it by Friday, November 19th. Spots will be chosen on a first come first serve basis so turn it in ASAP to room A-7 or box in office.
3. The Davis FFA Holiday Tree Fundraiser. All proceeds to benefit youth enrolled in agriculture classes at Davis Senior High School. Ask an FFA member/Ag student to take your pre-sale order before noon on Friday, December 3rd. Trees will be distributed to buyers on Saturday, December 11th (9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) and Monday, December 13th (4:00-6:00pm). Bring pre-ordered sales receipt to the Davis High School Agriculture Department's land lab located on Oak Street between 14th and Covell via the stadium parking lot. 1. Getting tired of studying at home? Want to go outside and roam? Then come to the mandatory Outdoors Club meeting this Friday in C-1 to plan our first amazing expedition.
2. The 1st Annual Alumni Basketball Game takes place on Saturday, November 27th in the new gym. Current Davis High players will be challenging alumni teams, with separate games for men and women. DHS women teams will play the alumni women at 2:00 and 4:30, while the DHS men take on the alumni men at 3:15 and 5:45. Bring your friends and family to cheer on your favorite players! Admission will be charged for this DHS basketball program fundraiser. We are still recruiting alumni players registration forms are available at www.davishighhoops.com<http://www.davishighhoops.com/>. 2. Interested in engineering, technology or programming? Would you like real life experience and to participate in a prestigious regional competition at UC Davis? The Robotics Club meets Thursdays at the Da Vinci High school in room 19 from 2:50 to 5:00PM. All high school students are welcome.

2. Did you know you can save someone's life in less time than it takes to watch a movie? It's true. Giving blood takes about an hour. Your donation is used to help people who need it urgently. The first Davis High School Blood Drive of the year is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 3. Giving blood is safe and easy. To donate blood, you must be at least 16 years old (with a parent consent form), weigh at least 110 pounds, and be free from cold or flu symptoms for at least 48 hours. For more information, please see Mrs. Youtsey in the Nurse's Office.
3. Don't miss the "Jazz Extravaganza" presented by the Davis High School Jazz Band, with director Fred Lange, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, November 19 at the Brunelle Performing Arts Building. This annual concert will feature guest artist trombonist Eric Burger, a 1970's graduate of Davis High School. Suggested donation is $8.00 general/$6.00 students and seniors.
4. Interested in traveling to Italy and Greece? Come to an informational meeting on Friday during lunchtime in room S-7.
5. MADRIGAL DINNER OPPORTUNITY on Friday, December 3rd reservations still available. Join the Davis community as the Davis High Madrigal Singers entertain and delight the Friday evening audience with music and singing a celebration of Olde English Christmas Tradition. Hors d'oeuvres at 6:30pm and dinner at 7:15pm, tickets are $40 each.
