* Prom pictures are here! Stop by the Front Office to pick them up!
* Habitat for Humanity needs volunteers for their bike ride this Saturday at 8:30 a.m. Contact Marcus Clark at 756-0318 or come to the Scholarship and Financial Aid Office for more information.
* Attention students: Finals are right around the corner! Do you need help with an essay or class project? Do you need help reviewing for math? The Academic Center has tutors who can help you out! Stop by M-2 during lunch and after school to get some help!
* SENIORS: Top 5 Reasons to buy your Grad Night ticket now! Reason #1: You don't want to decide to buy a ticket on June 1st only to find out that the last day for pre-sales was May 31st! Tickets are $90 each if purchased by May 31st, but they will be $110 if you wait to buy them at the door. Tickets will be on sale at lunch May 24 ,25, & 26 on the DHS Quad or you can download an order form at www.davisgradnight.org. DON'T wait until the last minute!

* Are you into experiencing some new sounds and new approaches to music? Then you are in luck because this Saturday, May 22nd at 7:30 in the Brunnelle Performing Arts Building you will experience music like you have never heard before. The Latin Jazz group will warm up the stage before three jazz combos from the Davis High Jazz Band put a new spin on old tunes as well as play tunes they have composed. This is definitely a night of music not to be missed.
* SENIORS: Don't forget to request your FINAL TRANSCRIPT to be sent to the college you will be attending. Bring in a stamped addressed envelope to the Transcript Counter and follow the directions posted.
* SENIORS: Don't forget to fill out a PERMANENT ADDRESS CARD if you haven't already. Cards are available at the Counseling Office.

* Monday, May 24th, will be our last NHS meeting. The meeting will take place in Mr. Richardson's room, S-12. We'll be wrapping up the year so please, be there! Please turn in your NHS hour sheets to an officer or Mrs. Neagley.
* Volunteers are needed to help at All Things Right and Relevant thrift stores in Davis. Students must be 15 years or older, and must commit to working a minimum of 4 hours per week. Students can volunteer during school, or over the summer. Contact Nadia Trauner at 759-1125 or nadtraun at yahoo.com, or come to the Scholarship and Financial Aid Office for more information.
* Attention all physical education students: The last day to do P.E. make ups is Friday May 28th! After that no make ups will be accepted. Until that time, you can make up everyday at lunch in the big gym and on Wednesday's at lunch or after school you can dress out and run the track (running is the only way to make up cardio points). Please be on time!
* The Davis High School Men's Blue Devil Basketball summer tryouts will be held Monday, May 24 thru Friday, May 28 in the Davis High Gymnasium. Varsity tryouts will be from 4 pm to 5:30 pm and JV/Freshmen from 5:30 pm to 7 pm. * Davis World Cup 2010, the premier annual AYSO Select Soccer Tournament held in Davis is quickly approaching. Memorial Day Weekend, May 29th - May 31st, over 150 teams throughout the state will come to Davis and compete. AYSO needs your help! If you have ever played in this tournament, love soccer or just like to help, please contact Dea Athon Diamant at dadiamant at comcast.net <mailto:dadiamant at comcast.net> or 400-1207 for more information. Join the fun and lend a helping hand.
* SENIORS: Have you been the recipient of any scholarships or awards not administered by the Scholarship and Financial Aid Office, including those from the college you will attend in the fall? If so, please come to the Scholarship Office and sign the "Outside Award" list. These awards will be announced at Senior Awards Night, which is scheduled for Tuesday, June 1 at 7:00 p.m. in the Performing Arts Theater.
* SENIORS: Did you apply for a local scholarship? If so, check the announcement board outside the Scholarship and Financial Aid Office to see if your name is on the list of recipients!
* Sports Physical Day at Sutter Davis is Saturday, June 5th from 8:30-11:30am at Sutter Family Practice, 2030 Sutter Place Suite 2000. Why wait? Students in grades 7-12 are encouraged to complete their sports physicals this spring at Sutter West Medical Group for the 2010-11 school year. Coaches strongly recommend that you take this opportunity to get your physicals early so that you can be ready to participate in early tryouts. Your $20 donations will benefit the DHS Athletics Department. Sports Physical packets can be picked up at your student's school office or online at www.davisseniorhigh.net <http://www.davisseniorhigh.net> Packets must be completed, signed by a parent/guardian and brought with you on June 5th in order to participate in the clinic.
