[Dhsbb-symph] Coconut Grove NEEDS YOUR PARTICIPATION

 Hello Band students and parents!  One last reminder to buy your tickets and volunteer to help for Coconut Grove on Saturday, March 7 to support the bands.  Our goal is to sell 150-200 tickets each year, and we are only at 128.  Participation in purchasing tickets, spreading the word, and volunteering to help is still too low, with only one week left to go.  Even tho this is a jazz night, and symphonic/concert bands are not performing, this event FINANCIALLY supports ALL of YOUR bands.  AND IT'S A REALLY FUN NIGHT!!! Food! Drinks! Auction and Raffle!  The continuation to have things like concerts and festivals, new and repaired school instruments, and trips like Victoria and Reno, depend on this major fundraiser.  We've done all the advertising we can think of, but we need your participation to spread the word.  And a reminder: if your student performer/volunteer wants dinner that night, they still need a ticket. 


Urgent volunteer needs: parents to help serve dinner, and volunteers to haul supplies back to the band room after the event.
