[Dhsbb-symph] Fwd: Updated Audition Material Now Posted

Dear NCBCDA Directors,

The updated 2018 Audition material is now posted on our website at http://www.ncbcda.com .  It has been updated with the Piccolo, Bass Trombone, and Mallet Percussion excerpts.

Please take the time to read the cover page of the audition material, as it gives specific instructions on how to audition as a percussionist and/or a mallet specialist.

Some directors have noted that there are some minor differences in between the CMEA Capitol Section audition excerpts and the NCBCDA excerpts.  I anticipate that the board will approve for all Cap section recordings to be accepted for NCBCDA auditions, regardless of minor differences in posted excerpts.  Stay tuned for a definitive update on this.

For your convenience, I have also attached the audition material to this email as a PDF.
