We need responses from every student, whether going or not so we can determine if our combined bands will meet the 60 person minimum to make the trip happen. Our deadline to determine these numbers is 9/8/17 so time is tight! A trip letter with commitment form on the last page was emailed out by Mr. Slabaugh last week. We need page 2 of that form with initial check for deposit if your student will be attending the trip. A projected trip agenda was part of the band syllabus packet sent out on the first day of school - toward the back and also handed out at the trip meeting last Wednesday. Please have your student bring forms and checks to Mr. Slabaugh and clearly write on yoru check "band trip deposit #1" so we can keep track. Again, even if you are not attending the trip, turn in paperwork to let us know. Thank you! Connie Belk -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Please let me know if you are interested. It goes to a good cause. (See below). Cheers, ~JAH This is what we have so far: [cid:image004.png at 01D32702.2CCEBB00] Greeting Everyone, A bunch of you have already approached me on this and yes, we are once again doing the MNF Fundraiser! It's always a blast! Tell your friends and family about it. Good for anyone who enjoys MNF or just being part of the fun. The NFL Football Season is warming up, which means that the first Monday Night Football Game is not far away. We are doing our Annual MNF Fundraising Event again for the season (17 games, 16 weeks). Make a $50 donation to the DHS Band Boosters (for the DHS Band program) and get one square for the entire season. Payouts are: $25 for Q1, Q2, Q3 and $50 for Final Score for each game. It was a lot of fun last year. $50 = $2.94/game (about the cost of a Coke) :). New numbers are picked for every game by different people and sent out on or before Monday around noon. The benefits support the DHS band program. If you are interested, please let me know and sign up. I'll have the signup sheet with me at the DHS Band Booster BBQ tomorrow. Pick a square x across, y down (& send me a check) and I'll sign you up. Thanks for helping the band program.
