Hi all,

I learned today that the Saturday of the Reno Jazz Festival (April 30) is also the date for the Prom. When I signed up Prom wasn’t yet scheduled, so this is new news to me.

I just contacted UNR (the hosts) and changed our performance preference from “No Preference” to “Friday Performances Only” (BTW: They don’t have Thursday performances). So, the plan is to leave from DHS on Thursday after school for UNR. We’ll get there, have dinner together, get into hotel rooms for a VERY EARLY wake up call. We will begin our performances (1 big band and three combos) early in the day and leave UNR when the last performance concludes. The schedule is not completed as of yet, but I wanted to get this information out ASAP.

Yes,….everyone should plan on attending the Prom!
