Message-ID: <269975.2c92bb0b.44344ff5@aol.com> Hi All, Our Disney trip is just a bit over a month away. Please watch your emails carefully as specific info about the trip will be coming in the next few weeks. Before that however, it is now time to get those pledge donations in. We have collected about 25% of the funds needed to make this trip happen and I will need to make a go/no go call on this by the end of next week before I pay the final amount on the hotel. I'm confident we can make this happen, but only if folks are able to honor their pledges and get those sent in by next week. I will be out of town for the jazz band trip to New Orleans starting tomorrow, so I won't be able to always respond quickly or reliably to emails until the 12th unfortunately. So if you aren't sure where you stand on your pledges, I encourage you to check your online bank ledger or paper bank statements to see if you can see donations you might have sent in. The original payment schedule from the original registration letter in the fall was as follows to help you find things: Deposit $250 due by Nov 20, 2015 2nd installment of $250 due by January 29, 2016 Final installment of $100 due by March 31, 2016. You may send things to the band mail box at: DHS Band Boosters Disney Trip PO Box 73522 Davis, CA 95617 Be sure to put your student's name on the memo line. You can also send things to school, but note that Mr. Slabaugh will be gone on Thurs, Friday and Monday for the New Orlean's trip. I will be checking our finances upon our return and am confident we can make this happen. Thank you all for your support of the kids and the band program at DHS! Katie Horn P.S. If your student was originally planning to go, but will no longer be joining us please send me an email with an update so we can make sure we have an accurate trip roster. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Message-ID: <31E5EEBE70B474419207FB83C01C030325864C60@FMSMSX110.amr.corp.intel.com> All, Due to quite a few people (many of our regular attendees) & most of the officers not being able to attend on the DHS Band Booster mtg this Wednesday, I am canceling the Face-to-Face portion of the meeting and changing it to a "Virtual" meeting, which will be done via email this month. So we will not actually meeting in a room, but instead use the technology at our fingertips to keep things going. I will collect the updates from everyone and send them out via email for "discussion" and information purposes. Please do not send the updates to the entire listserv, just to me. That way we don't needlessly fill email inboxes. I will consolidate the inputs and send them out to everyone. So the updates/inputs that I would like to have sent to me are the following: Agenda for the Virtual Mtg: (Write-up owners) March Band Booster Mtg Minutes viewing & approval (John H) Upcoming Calendar of Events for the Year (John) Directors Update (Tom) Include details on Jazz Invitational, Picnic Day Parade, Capitol Concert, Reno Jazz Festival, Senior Concert, Jazz on a Summer's Eve, etc. Coconut Grove Outcome/Summary (Phil) Pancake Breakfast outcome (Karen) NOLA Trip Summary & Passdowns (Katie & John) Disney Trip Summary & Status (Katie & John) Treasurer's Update (Ron) - DONE By Law Change Proposal (John) 2016-2017 Officers & Committee Chairs needed (John) 2016-2017 Calendar (John, Tom) Jazz Band End of Year gathering (John) Other Business (Anyone) If the owners of each agenda item can send me a quick write-up by tomorrow evening, I'll consolidate and send out the BB Listserv.
